Cut is a little difficult though, since they only make clothes for stick figures.

Of course, people will have different opinions/experiences. You should simply take that infographic as a warning rather than an ironclad rule. For 90% of people here, it will fit and look awful because asian clothing caters to asian people with asian frames. And even if you have that type of body, it still may not fit the same way, or deteriorate in a wash, or come apart easily. On the other hand, maybe you'll be really happy with the purchase, who knows? I think most ebay sellers take returns, so if you do happen to dislike it, just get a rma. Also do remember to take pictures for our.. education.

1) Jcrew Dock Peacoat, should I go with navy or charcoal? 2) I was hoping I could get some advice on a few things. I've been having some issues with jacket fits. For example if I wear a 36s, it's a little snug on my shoulders for my taste but fits everywhere else pretty well. However if I try a 38s, it fits my shoulder well but too big elsewhere. I would say that my shoulders are a little bit on the broad side in relative to my body frame. For reference, I am around 5'10" and 140-145 pounds. I was about 135 several months ago and am still pretty darn skinny. I'm a little bigger now since I've been working out and I'm looking to bulk up to around 165 pounds. With all that considered, should I be going with a 38s or 36s for my jacket size? Also these jackets that I'm looking to buy are sport coats from J.crew that I can get at an extremely steep discount and they'll just mostly be worn casually for a night out with jeans. Could I get a 38s and tailor it down to fit in the lower body similar to a 36? I'm thinking that if I'm getting these jackets for around $150 it might not be worth the tailoring cost that will be required. Plus I might run the risk of the alteration not turning out to my liking. How much can a jacket be tailored at the waist and will it looked imbalanced or terrible if I do get it tailored? I've had people tell me a 36s looks great on me however I think I am of average height by American standard and out of all the available sizes there are for a sport coat ranging from 36 to a 44, I find it hard to believe that I need the very smallest size available. It just does not make sense logically to me... Not to mention that I kind of have a big head so getting a smaller jacket can make me look unproportional..

shoulder is more important because waist can be tailored and chest can be slightly taken in as well get the 38, get it tailored. having them taken in doesn't cost that much, and it'll be well worth it even at the $150 price. but make sure to test the tailor first

I suppose you can't really go wrong with either.. I'm thinking the navy will me more versatile. I think I'll need to get the jacket taken in a LOT though and I'm not sure how much I would be able to get them taken in.

I'm in almost the same spot as you. I was 135 a little over 2 months ago an am now 155 and in the process my chest has grown 1.5 inches. I have no idea if that means that I should expect another 1.5 inches of growth or not since I'm focusing a little more on chest now but also will have to cut at some point. My feelings are mixed on the sizing. On one hand 36r would probably fit me well right now, maybe a little snug on my shoulders but I think that'd be alright. On the otherhand 38r would leave me room to grow, but I'd have to get it brough in at the waist.
