depends on what style you want really. cheap options are always converse/vans, nike roshes (im still thinking heavily about getting a pair), nike pegasus (that i also want wow i have a problem)... if you don't want sneakers... dunno.

Looking to spend no more than $100 though. There's a few styles you can look into: Bucks may look somewhat formal but it's pretty easy to dress them down with jeans/chinos. Also go well with non-athletic shorts in spring/summer. Clark Desert Boots are fairly versatile and go with similar bottoms like Bucks but are just more casual. The pegasus is a decent shoe but Nike also offers styles like the Roshe if that's more to your liking. Converse is a pretty solid option with the jack purcell in white being a fairly popular colorway. Also available in leather if that's more your thing. I think Amazon still has a discount on ordering a pair of shoes if you sign up for their mailing list to shave off another 20%.

Yea I'm specifically looking for sneakers at the moment to wear with shorts/jeans, although I do really like those clark desert boots Ruski posted, I might just get those instead.

My price point would be about ~300-400 for a charcoal peacoat At that price point you really have all the options you want in Canada unless you go into the super luxury... even then on sale the luxury products will be in your range. Banana Republic, J.Crew some lower spectrum Holts brands will all fall within this range or less. Basically non-designer stuff.

$100 http://fidelitypeacoat.com/ $200 http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/outerwear/wool/PRDOVR~87195/87195.jsp | BR doesnt have them stocked online $300 http://www.schottnyc.com/products/lifestyle/military dunno what else to put at the $400 mark. You can get some designer stuff around that on some flash sale sites sometimes. I didn't do much research on anything that isn't just wool/synthetic blends but we had a discussion a while back on this and that's not such a bad thing. You want a little bit synthetic for longevity. i have no idea about any nicer materials though (melton wool, there's some cashmere blend ones too) on a side note http://www.schottnyc.com/products/lifestyle/street/wool-blend-coachmens-jacket.htm?color=1 man i want a toj0... shoulda gotten that one from a few months ago ![]()
