Since people are discussing clothing in here, I'm sure it'll be alright to ask about hair products:
I've never used hair gel or spray or anything before, so don't crucify me for not knowing this:
My hair looks totally awesome when I get out of bed, alas, I don't like to leave the house without showering. How do I make it look messy and a tiny bit more greasy after showering? Nothing that feels too gross.

stuff i wanna buy keeps popping up on market...now its a schneider scarf...90 shipped but i already blew my clothes money for a while. i mean i couuuuuuuld.... i do want a new scarf.... wow life. wanna buy me one
dunno why people assume we're really mean in here (youre not the only person thats gone " dont crucify me" haha)
unfortunately though im not very much help here. i dont use hair products

I can't give you an exact answer but the people at http://peteandpedro.com will recommend which type of product you should buy if you send them a picture of your hair/desired style. I currently use one of their products and would buy again.

Sounds like hair wax or some kind of styling cream/paste is what you're looking for.
I have been using...
+ Show Spoiler +
It's like 3€, so you can just give it a shot I'd say.
I recently started buying a styling paste directly from my barber, it's relatively expensive, but I really like it so far, does exactly what I want it to do with my hair.

I'll post some stuff about hair in a bit, I've tried most over the counter hair products that I've found (Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, etc.). I actually rant on that to my friends a bit, there's a serious lack of information about men's hair products. It's a bit harder than women's because lots of guys have very different levels of short-medium-long and the kind of styles they want to pull off. I'm Asian so my hair is usually medium short spiky bedhead, so I can't comment on stuff like fohawk.
For the products I've tried, the one that said "dry sponge" was by far the best in just getting a layer of grease and texture on my hair. The product was not strong at all so the hair tended to flatten after about ~8 hours or so, which is not good at all for anyone who's trying to keep spiky hairstyle.
Gel is something you definitely need to be careful with. If you do use gel, you need to apply directly to the roots if you don't want to end up looking like your hair is a rock.
Same deal goes with hairspray.
Mousse is a lot lighter. But if you use too much, you also get the hardness like gel. I didn't find mousse particularly good for any of the hairstyles I wear.
Dry sponge never actually got hard no matter how much I applied. Good for just making your hair look less dry and straight, and for adding texture.
There's several levels of putty, pastes, rubber, clay and wax that I haven't exactly worked out what they mean yet (hence why I rant about men's hair product). I tend to like rubber and clay type products more for my bedhead style.
I currently am trying out the Korean Gatsby brand with good results. My previous go-to product used to be the Axe line of hair products, but they didn't last as long as the Gatsby did over the day.

my black fleece OCBD arrived. i went with bb0 because i'd tried it in stores, I could probably fit a bb00 in chest but bb0 is def right for me. placket ends in a triangle before the bottom so it might get a bit weird to wear without tucking but the length isn't so long I need to. satisfies what i want, more or less. though i might still get a beater OCBD...

Does anyone if the brand "H by Hudson" is good quality wise? I want to get away from sneakers and found boots I quite like. 160€ is expensive for me though. I am willing to pay that if they hold up for a couple of years though. Shoes in question

'sup. I am not sure whether I find them hideous or great, opinions plees?
+ Show Spoiler +
A friend of mine told me these shoes were some kind of thing last year, which I wouldnt know about, since I don't care. I am just not sure whether I find them aesthetically pleasing or not.

lol, you not sure whether you find them aesthetically pleasing or not, so you ask for other people's opinions? Why would somebody else's opinion change your own aesthetic preferences?
The only preference that matters is your own, and it sounds like you are ambivalent about it. That's not going to change. Besides, everybody has different preferences in the world.

i have always been wearing jeans (classic) and i want to start wearing other types of pants (more specifically dockers) for casual why do people wear slim fits and not classic fit? do "never iron" pants worth buying? do you have to iron dockers every time you wash them?
and regarding shoes... what are some good shoes that go well for casual clothes? can you send a link so i could see some pics?
Please and Thank You!

Can someone shed some light on the following questions about watches?
Should I be aiming to match watch with shoes/belt? Brown-faced watch with brown shoes? Black with Black? Silver with anything?
Also what leather or metal band better for younger people & wearing with jeans?
TY!

SOMEBODY BUY ME CCP TORNADOS
|
i love this string of questions and suddenly "BUY ME CCPs"
- havent heard anything about H by Hudson. search forums
- do YOU like them ?!
- slim fits because some people are slimmer and classic fits look odd or baggy on them. non iron chinos and pants are fine. i've ever had to iron any of my pants... you def dont have to iron after washing. it just depends what fit is for you, and what aesthetic you're going for (i'd imagine at some more traditional work environments, wearing more casual pants that you don't have to iron is inappropriate).
- shoes: what do you mean by casual clothes?
- watch: if they're both leather i would say yes. keep your leathers (shoes/belt/watch) the roughly the same. but leather vs metal is all preference. I hate leather because of the way it looks and because it soaks up sweat, and strongly prefer metal. but i haven't worn my watch in months.
- ccps: u gotta wife andy noona

Shoes in question these look like carpe diems with a wack toebox it's a classic workboot look. in terms of quality, you need to check if the uppers are stitched or glued to the sole. also need to check what kind of shank they use, if any. + Show Spoiler +

wear whatever you want to wear. If suede is the texture that matches the rest of your wardrobe, then get them.

Please and Thank You! I'm assuming by your queries and tone that you're still in high school Slim/sleek has been the trend for the last 10 years, classic fit on most guys is considered too loose and baggy unless they do squats/you're fat. Wear whatever matches your body type. Unless you're ironing your pants, it doesn't matter at all. In which case, you should be really evaluating why you're ironing your chinos/denim; ironing is for suits and more formal trousers.
the rest of your questions are ridiculously vague

I have to iron one pair of chinos that I own. The other two do fine without it.

like andy said, you sound like you are young/in high school.
i would not wear dockers and just continue on wearing jeans. maybe upgrade/buy a better pair of jeans. apc and acne are popular, or if too expensive, buy a pair of the tapered skinny (t-000) uniqlo jeans. if you really don't want to wear jeans, a lot of people wear uniqlo vintage chinos.
i'm gonna guess that you mean jeans and a shirt/t-shirt when you say casual clothes. converse (chucks/purcells), vans (authentics), doc martens (1460,1461), clarks desert boots off the top of my head.

where are some good places to buy chinos (slim fits to be exact)?
i know most of you dont know places where i live because you guys might live out of california but what are some shops near your places that sell them. reason i ask is because i dont like shopping online because i cant try out clothes online, and i dont want to return everytime i dont like something.
sorry if that doesnt make sense or is a stupid question about stores haha
