Life's not fair... :D I work at a hotel, so I see stuff like that on a regular basis. The pretty girls tend to make shitloads in tips, as a guy you really need to be fucking lucky and work your ass off.

tanner belts are like max 60 aren't they?
I also need a keychain thing. My keyring is becoming far too small at this point but I'm not sure what constitutes both a utilitarian and decent keyholderthinger without being one of those metal clip things you attach to a beltloop. Does that make any sense?

Actually i am getting some kind of loop.... Thing. Here
http://blueowl.us/scripts/psp/VB_Bridge3.dll?VBPROG=\bin\shop.prodt.detail&SKU=7900001
I'd get it from corter but i've heard that they take forever. BO has $10 shipping on a $35 item... May as well get jeans lol.
But i get you. I need a minimal thing cause i have 1-3 keys depending on if i'm in a dorm. But if you have a ton i don't think you can get very utilitarian lol.
|
Oh right, I have a corter belt, not a tanner belt; that's why I thought they were 60.
I think I like the tanner keychain lanyard thing over the corter bottlehook, as much as I dislike the way they conduct their business nowadays.
And it's not having a gigantic bunch of keys that's the problem. It's because these new fandangled cars require these gigantic remotes so it's super frustrating when you have 5ish keys, pretty slim by themselves; then you add this huge plastic remote and it just turns into a rodeo in your pocket.
|
I'd just split them up at this point lol. Keep the car keys separate.
I'd get a Corter belt but they don't have the darker brown colors and I'd like to not have to buy a new belt when I get dress shoes. Would you rec though? How do they do when it comes w/ shipping and stuff? I might get a split ring too but I don't wanna wait forever.
You're talking about these right? Personal choice. I'd get one of I was thinking of a lanyard but I want something more functional. Bottlehook lets me put stuff on my belt + into pocket and not have to worry. I mostly want to not put my keys in my front pockets and I don't wanna worry about them falling off x_x.

actually it depends on how your foot is. the lunars are relatively flat so if you have an arch I'd stay away for running. the inside of my midfoot hurts a little when I run distance in them. the sole is pretty cushioned though, so it gives you more stability.
i also bought free 3.0s (which feel like you're not really wearing any shoes), which i'd probably like more for running. lighter and conforms to my foot better.
Im pretty sure it goes free 3 > free 5 > flyknit > pegasus > airmax for feedom < > stability. so it depends how you run. some ppl run like shit and need airmaxes. some ppl did track 3 years and work with frees rly well.
on the other hand just go to a local ross/marshalls/whatever and buy like cheap $30 shoes if you're not gonna use them for anything but running/working out and you dont wanna buy $100 shoes

About 6'1 (187cm) and 160lbs (73kg) caucasian male with slim chest and reasonably broad shoulders. Generally medium shirts (EU standards that is) are a good fit

fuck i keep missing ppl who are in eu coming to US so i can order meermins without customs shitting on me T_T

i like running in my flyknit racers, comfy and super light but expensive.
if you don't want to spend much, i think it's cheaper if you buy previous models, like the nike pegasus 28, off ebay. the nike pegasus is supposedly a really good running shoe, don't think i've heard anyone say anything bad about them.
but the best advice is to go to a running store and ask people there.

Whilst I have relatively little knowledge of fashion (I really just buy whatever I find comfortable and makes me not look like Gollum), allow me to share a little tidbit of advice:
When you are out running or training, DO NOT buy your shoes because they looked a certain way - at least not as the primary reason. Go to a running store and get videotaped whilst running on a treadmill in different shoes to avoid messing up your knees! I have seen too many runners in shoes which would increase their risk of injury rather than reduce it.
With that said: Carry on - I find it very interesting to follow the talks of you guys.
