I am a basketball player and i can understand wearing slides but if ur gonna change ur shoes later u might as well change ur socks too. Or u could just not wear socks and wear sandals like they're supposed to be worn. Yes slides are sandals. And the same with vans. Ankle socks please the high socks look retarded. If you agree or disagree please feel free to comment :D I honestly kind of like the style.

been buying some socks recently. nike dri-fits are really damn good. patterned socks are fun. a very subtle way of self expression you can play with that won't have a huge impact

Most dress socks are black, but I don't wear black pants very often so that doesn't work out for me. Solid gray/khaki is boring and not always a 100% match to my pants, so patterns are great! How much is affordable for you? I bought mine from a nice old lady that made them a while ago. She only wanted 8 € per socks which is really cheap for handmade socks in my opinion. After a quick search i found this site for europe. Link and this for the US Link just search for wool socks and you should find plenty of results.

The only Idea I have right now is to wear a lightweight wool charcoal suit with Allen Edmonds strands(Haven't decided in walnut or bourbon yet). I am open to suggestions on a different color of suit, but I am really more concerned with where to get the most for your money.

Personally, I'd go for a navy suit with walnut strands. What do you guys think of a look like this with a different color shirt? http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Cambridge-Saxxon-1818-Suit/MK00127,default,pd.html?dwvar_MK00127_Color=MDGY&contentpos=5&cgid=0216 The shoes the model is wearing is pretty similar to the walnut strands I was talking about. Obviously the suit itself is a little out of my price range (lol)

I kinda wanna know if its worth it too. I could get a low end MTM at that price point but if OTR fits me fine it's just a matter of quality. Jeans + chinos and double one depending on what you wear more. I got a pair of Alpha Khakis for my birthday, I'm excited to break them in. I'm saving for a trip to NY next summer so I can forgo buying a new pair of denim this summer.

I'm not the most fashionable or up to date guy in the world, but I keep my eyes on trends and I certainly know what I can and can't pull off, and I love to dress to make myself look good when I have the chance. That said, almost everything I own is either from Goodwill or Kohl's, and I don't think I own a single article of clothing I've spent more than 40 or 50 bucks on. My most expensive clothes are my Levi's, and I only ever buy new ones when they're on sale and my old ones look too ratty to be stylish anymore. I think I make my cheap stuff work pretty damn well, at least for the money I spend on it. Am I sorely mislead on what actually is considered fashionable, or are you guys all overspending?

Everyone here has a different budget, mine is almost 0 so I shop like you do, and still consider fashion very important to me. I don't think anyone here is addicted to cashmere sweaters and is hurting themselves and their families by overspending ![]() I found a pair of Dack's the other month for $20, all their shoes are apparently $450. Maybe I'll post a pic, most comfortable shoes I own.
