The trick is for the rest of the outfit to be more subtle. I like brown/walnut shoes and belt, with a more subtle shirt. I went with a navy mini-gingham. A little pattern with a subtle base colour is the way I go. You really only want one stand out piece on at a time or else it gets too intense and people dont know where to focus. I am a big fan of colourful pants, do your thing!!! Also, a user on reddit is closing down his clothing line. He reduced all of his leather jackets to $98, with free shipping. Some people might be interested in them! I have a classic bomber jacket on its way to me currently, and I will report in about it when i get it. Some of the styles are a bit mroe fashion forward, some a bit more classic. Sizing is limited though. http://www.hollywoodandvain.com/products-page/men/outerwear/ Heres the reddit thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/frugalmalefashion/comments/18fnn0/had_to_close_the_doors_on_my_clothing_line/

like me nothing is you say is going to tell them what you want without A. making the impact you want or B. offending them. sooner or later they'll come around to it.

he knows is spent $180 on my jeans lol. i tried to explain why (quality/cost wise). ill prolly just leave it alone like andy said. i do my best to dress well, but it comes down to how happy i am. i was perfectly comfy going to my class in my dorm's building in shorts and flip flops even though i feel like the facilitator had a problem with it. #deal

These guys, though, don't use luxottica to manufacture http://www.warbyparker.com/men/sunwear In other news, unless I fuck up really badly I'm gonna be making a presentation in my res hall about how to dress professionally (as a male). Should be fun.

you can always (should) tailor the arms and waist.

nothing you can do about the height of the shoulders but everything else can be remedied to an extent at the tailor's. not a fan of that collar gap. and for the proportion of your neck to your shirt collar you should find one with a smaller, wider collar and not the tall narrow one you have. ps: actually now that I think about it you should probably get another jacket because that lapel is too short; I mistakenly attributed it to the shoulders being fit poorly, but it shouldn't be that big of an impact to create the 'mountaining' you see at the middle buttons. if you do stick with it, be sure your tailor doesn't cut it so that it creates divots on your shoulders. I find that happens a lot after you take in that part of the jacket.

Anyway, how do I find a good tailor? I've for reviews and stuff online already and can't really find anything with more than 1 or 2 reviews from people who had their pants shortened or something. But I'd say hemming pants and altering a suit jacket are two different things entirely and I don't want somebody to fuck up the jacket.

They're saying it's too big, so you might be able to size down to a 42 regular fit. Different brands also fit differently.
