I already wash my hair every other day. When I did it everyday it greased up after about 5 hours, It's a lot better every other for me. I've also gone with not washing it for a week and it was just a mess. I have a full-time job so I'm not trying it again.

Shoes : I'm looking for a pair or two that aren't street shoes but not dress shoes. Comfort is a huge concern. I stumbled upon these in this thread and I really like the look to them.

Socks: I've got the white socks with Jeans down, and the dress pants+socks+shoes down. But as I mention in the next few sections. I have no idea about what to do for business casual.

Just wear dress socks most of the time, depending on your shoes. Don't wear white socks (hanes kind esp) unless its for athletic purposes. A few pairs of wool maybe.

Pants : I am comfortable with nice jeans, I've got a few pairs. However, I'm completely lost on what to do about non-jean sub-formal pants. Even worse I can't seem to find a pair that fits right. (Maybe I'm just used to the loose and comfy fit of jeans.)

Get a pair of raw denim so you don't have to have too many. Chinos and wool trousers for the cold should be ok.


Belts: Formal Belts, check.

I've got these sort of belts that are thrown in with many purchases of jeans at like AE or w/e. With jean/tshirt they seem to work fine. My instinct tells me something is wrong if they are combined with like a cardigan+button up.
I'm lost when it comes to belts + pants with a business casual outfit.

Get a leather one in the same colors as your shoes

Upper body: I've got a few nice button up's and undershirts that mix and match nicely with a couple cardigans I bought recently.

I've been playing it safe, going without stripes, and going with bland colors like grey and dark blue. I feel like this can go well with Jeans and also khaki or other non-formal pants, depending on the colors.
So far I think this is my best category, but I still need some broadening.
I have a problem with having somewhat broad shoulders and being thin and tall. Shirts tend to never fit me. Mediums fit well but are too short, and larges are big enough but leave so much room around the torso. This is why I became attached to the cardigan/ Large nice shirt look. I have an upperbody outfit something like this.

Not dark blue. Stick to pastels and white (so light blue, maybe an off color). There's different kinds of "dress shirt" materials, and different collar styles. Get a few OCBDs - they make them in extra slim too, a few regular broadcloth/twill (the ones you probably have), keep it pastel. I'd suggest keeping your base in blue, cause its easy to match,

Facial hair: Just gonna go clean cut for quite awhile. Seems like the safe bet.

Hair: I've always thought I had awesome hair. I dont have to do anything with it, besides wash, and I tend to get compliments.

I am kind of lost as to how I could style this in any way. It would just seem really unnatural. Is a natural look fine in business casual and formal? I usually get it trimmed a bit for anything formal.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, show examples, be critical, forward me to specific items and retailers.

While I'm here, I'm thinking of grabbing a pair of boat shoes if anyone has any advice for them.

Was also considering a pair of casual barefoot shoes if anyone knows anything about those. Despite being short, I don't like heels.

From March-June I'm planning on completely re-doing 90% of my wardrobe so expect to see me around asking all sorts of questions.
