A friend of mine has his birthday coming up soon and I'm looking to spend with a budget of $100, preferably around $50. I wanted to buy him something menswear related like a tie or a dress shirt. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Buying an article of clothing for a friend can be difficult. I would stick to accessories. Buy him a hat. Hats are awesome.

get him a bespoke shirt from a local tailor. Although, it'll be over your budget (maybe $130). best shirts are made custom. Although you'd a) need him there and b) need to recruit another person to pay for it.

I've bought my ties from thetiebar but only because they're low-price options and I don't particularly need anything expensive right now.

there's a lot of shirts in that range but if you want something for formalwear go with something for Brooksbrothers

the cushioning at the bottom of the ball of my foot is actually pretty thin. although i used to run in Adidas supernovas which are very cushioned.

but i'm very happy with it so far. Haven't actually ran anything - just a half mile today - so I prolly just need to break them in more

the question - b/w/grey camo, or pink/black leopard laces?

I have something to admit to you guys im currently in love with crazy colored woolsocks.
Yes you heared right. Terrible looking things like this!

Its great when people discover them and give me weird looks because of it! Of course i try to match them with my clothes as best as i can. :D
What are your opinions regarding socks? Colors,fabric,what you like to wear and so on?
On a unrealated note who else is still using handkerchiefs in their daily life. I dont mean for dressing purposes!
Just for daily use im currently searching for new ones and would be glad if someone can give me some recommendations.

I've been looking for socks like yours that are affordable for a little while now actually. Most dress socks are black, but I don't wear black pants very often so that doesn't work out for me. Solid gray/khaki is boring and not always a 100% match to my pants, so patterns are great!
