Only hacks I've used is duping/etc in D2. That was when I was like 12 or 13 and never since, 23 now.

I have a friend who is convinced I hack in fps games though. I think 15 odd years of playing fps and almost 20 years of gaming entitles me to be decent at the very least.

tried out hack once or twice, long time ago on bw, probably bgh game. D2 hacks to but that don't count.

Cheating just makes things more boring and makes me unmotivated.

diablo 2: calarsi dupe hack, maphack, and d2jsp bot.
sc1: winbot to destroy ladder for fun, maphack if i know they're using a maphack, and name spoof/drop hack to troll people.

and in RO i was the most famous "hacker" for using grf edits, rpe, wpe, autopot, ahk, and everything inbetween. none are truly hacks, they're more like exploits. funny thing is most of the things people referred to as "hacks" ended up being common practice among top guilds because there was no way to prevent them and they gave an advantage so dominant strategy was to use them and they became acceptable lol...

Yeah, I've used savegame editors and hex editors in singleplayer games to mess around in them, for instance grandia II and also elderscrolls:morrowind. Also no I don't think there's anything wrong with that =P

Age of Empires, I used the standard 'Trainer' for those who would partake in Wonder Wars. In case some nerd wouldn't leave the game, you could Big Daddy them out.

One guy got super viscious and attacked my PC, so I wasn't allowed to play AoE for a couple months. I also had to write 'I will never cheat again' 500 times.

I'm not sure if it counts, but a ton of Gameshark for Pokemon. Sometimes you just don't want to start with one of the originals, and a level 5 Rhyhorn sounds neat!

Obvious D2 maphack.

Dabbled in hacks in CS 1.6 for a week, got VAC banned and never bothered on VAC secure servers ever again. Played with them on non-secure servers (where everyone hacks) for a month or whatever. It was kind of funny. Never really bothered to hack in any other game, though. Not even maphacks in d2.

Maphacked In diablo 2...everyone did. If you wanted to farm or rush with any efficiency you needed them. Does it count? Otherwise I never hacked.

In counterstrike I joined a team that every used hacks and we arranged clan wars against other teams that used hacks so was like hackers vs hackers and play on servers were everyone was suppose to use hacks. I only played in the team for month or 2 never played with hacks ever again

Well I dunno if it counts but in diablo 2 I used maphack :s otherwise only cheats in single player modes.

I used to use hacks for Gunbound back in the day. Didn't start out using them, but after a while it seemed like everyone in every game was getting perfect shots and a billion gp so they would advance ranks like crazy. It was neat to see all of the different vehicles SS hit perfectly, but after that things just got boring.
