To this day I still regret spoiling the ending of this great games with cheat codes, because a few years later when I had more experience and returned to finish the campaigns without any cheats, I was just amazed how good and rewarding it felt to finish them with my own strategy and skill. And that is when I said to myself... I WILL NEVER use a cheat (or hack) again to spoil a game .. NEVER! As for multiplayer it has never crossed my mind. Because of the experience that I mentioned above, I never understood why people enjoy cheating in multiplayer. Destroying people with my own skill is what drives me to play, not the action of winning. | ||

I used speedhack on a private wow server though, since travel in wow is for ass. If I need to get to the next capital to fulfill "my next goal" and I actually need like 15+ minutes to get there on foot, it just isn´t tolerable for me. Yes it´s big, but if I can actually count my amount of time doing menial/trivial tasks and walking as more than 15% each, somethings wrong. | ||

maphack like 90% of the players but also from heavy trading i got in contact with more shady people. at one point knew about a rollback (free crafting, this was .09 era ) that very little knew about and that didnt got fixed till months/years later. was like 14/15 back then. looking at it know i shouldve exploited it like crazy and made money with it ~~ instead i quit soon after and used the exploit just a few times for testing purposes mostly. oh and in flyff (some crappy free2play mmo) there was a funny hack running rampart for some time.basicly gave you admin powers in the game world.screen wide aoe attack with hundreds of thousands of dmg etc. i joined the crew for shits and giggles. played the game like 3-4 weeks, hacked for 2-3 days then quit. other then that i never hacked/cheated in any way, esp not in any competive games. makes no sense to me. so ya i did some shady business but nothing major and i can still say that i 100% earned all my wins/kills in all the rts/fps i played online. for singleplayer cheats i only really remember 2 things: 1. sc/bw campaign. when i got bored of a mission or couldnt do it (this was before i started playing online so i sucked.bad.) 2. baldurs gate 1/2 using a character editor to give me HP potions since i couldnt find enough for my needs and didnt want to fill my priests spellbook with heal spells only. also i was quite young when i first played it sothe game def wasnt easy for me. | ||
