Only time I have ever used a hack was in CS 1.6. At the time I had a small internet cafe, and we had a few spare steam accounts. I really wanted to see what the perspective of a hacker was, so when I played online myself I could tell much easier when people were hacking with intentions to cheat. I have never used any hack to actually compete online, only too educate myself what to look out for.

I have used plenty of singleplayer cheats though, and when i was younger I would love when people joined my Diablo 1 games and spammed me godly gear lol.

I never cheated in an online game. I'm 31 though (soon 32..wat) , so I was 15-16 when I first started playing online (quake!!).

I duped items way back in Diablo. Not sure if you'd call that hacking or not. I'm pretty sure it didn't work on the realms in Diablo 2.

Around the time I was done playing CoD competivtively I tried out a wallhack and aimbot to see what it was like. I used it for maybe an hour before it got boring haha. I would have been around 12 then I believe.

I used maphack in D2,

Also, i discovered that you could dupe items with lag(turning off the internet), it got patched really quickly thought.

I've only hacked in one game and that was mohaa. I didn't do it all the time but I had a toggle for some chams. I honestly think everyone hacked but nobody said anything. You learned to not be suspicious and since everyone was doing it then it made it a challenge.

Maphack in d2 and vacuum/speed hack in maple story. Also i don't think duping is considered a hack but more of an exploit/glitch. I personally never duped in d2 but i did in d1.

I'm sorely tempted to start map hacking in DotA when it's like a week or so until the release of DotA 2. I've never used a hack in my life though, cos I know how much grief it gives people. My idea is only to troll a bit of the people that always seem to squash me, but I know I'll get picked up easily

But until that moment, I will never condone any use of hax for whatever purpose. I even know that if I do go ahead with the trolling that I am a dick and should be banned forever should I get caught.

I used Oblivion back in broodwar for the last year or so b4 sc2 came out. Mostly for the unlimited unit/building selection and automine. I would shut MH off most of the time. Justified it by telling myself SC2 has these features so I might as well get used it having it now.... never hacked or thought about hacking once in sc2.
