In your dictionary you have the word 'funfte' in your database for 'fifth'. I checked on a big online dictionary and i see the correct word is fünfte. Now i made a wordlist and i try to add fünfte in it, it tells me "adding word fünfte", it loads for a second and then says "Added word funfte" and in my list appears funfte instead fünfte. Also (maybe not a bug) i can't move a freshly added word on the list until i reload the page with the wordlist.

Also, I've just harvested five plants from my garden, and four of them were immediately marked as wilted. Is that intentional? It seems like a bug. They're all marked as having required watering 11 hours ago, which makes it look like the repetition I just did to harvest them is being ignored when calculating the times.

Not as when you completely miss the word and you get taken to its page, but only show you the correct word on the same page or add the missing letters to the written word and highlight them. indeed this is something I miss too

Any character without pinyin -> ignore word Any character looking weird -> check dictionnary -> ignore word This course is ok but kinda broken at the same time. Keep some other material around or you'll end up with illusions about your mandarin skills. Well, good luck anyway.

On the one hand, they're geared towards those trying to achieve fluency in Chinese - they first teach you the radicals (characters that don't exist by themselves) and the ancient rather than contemporary meanings of simple characters so that you can more easily learn compound characters in the future. I think this approach only pays off if you're planning to reach at least intermediate level. On the other hand, they have a word list entitled "survival mandarin", which would suggest a very concise list of the most important characters to get your basic skill level up as fast as possible. However, instead, this list also takes this "radical first" approach, which is full of useless words for those trying to quickly learn the basics for a trip to China.

While learning finnish, I encountered some mistakes (typo's) in the actual word list (severel times it says täma instead of tämä- a finnish native said it should be tämä). Is there a way for me to edit or request edits to that word? Thanks! Yeh, in the Finnish newspaper words list there is like 3 I've encountered (not related to the Finnish part though). It says tuote is 'producit' instead of 'product', hassu is 'fangit' instead of 'funny' and kehitys is utveckling instead of (from what google tells me is) 'development'. Would be cool to have a report / flag function but I completely understand it's early days for the site and there's so many suggestions and stuff it will take some time to become relatively flawless.

For now, post a comment on the 'Discussion' tab for the word, e.g. http://www.memrise.com/item/158640/tuote-producit/ We try to be very responsive about fixing things that come up in discussions. Also, that way, if there's any contention, we can work it out in public. We're putting a lot of energy into moderation tools, so bear with us!
