How do I high five him back without looking for page 1 thousand something? :p You can only be high fived if you're in the top 100. But you can high five anyone in the top 100 regardless of your rank. Lots of TL people have been high-fiving all of the TL people in the top 100 whenever they get a chance. It's a friendly way to appreciate the TL members in the top 100 of the leaderboard ![]()

It's always good to remember the old spanish words... And givin those asian's gibberish a shot ! :D Edit : Wait now that i mention it, i'm not sure if that's actually the Grandmaster from sc2, or some diploma ? oO My bad if I got it wrong then ! ![]() I actually read the OP - for some reason, I read it as a chess grandmaster. I had expected a SC2 GM to have been specified as NA grandmaster.

Ed Cooke is a Grand Master of Memory, approved by the World Memory Sport Council. He can do, amongst others, following things: Memorise 1,000 random digits in an hour Memorise the order of 10 decks of cards in an hour Memorise the order of one deck of cards in under two minutes. So, regarding memorizing vocabularies even better than a SC2-GM or chess-GM ![]()

1. The principle of the seed and garden stuff remindes me of my past when i used file cards to learn latin. It was the easiest ways for me to learn new vocabulary. If you know the card you can put it in a different box and "water" them less. Today i still use them at the university but iam not learning a language instead i have to learn minerals for example. (geology) The question is: Can i make some kind of file card list, where i can put a picture at the front and the answer on the back? Is there even a desire to go "beyond" languages? Or is that the purpose of the site and should remain as it is? i remember a tl member spoke about morse code. 2. Someone mentioned that the direct contact with a native speaker via chat would be awesome. I have to agree with that. i would even go a step farther and would integrate a friends list. With the "dream" that you can make new friends and maybe even visit your "teacher" in the future. =) Edit: Is there a bug in changing picture? I have used my facebook account to login and my picture was transfered to memerize but if i try to change it i always get the error "Upload a valid image. The file you uploaded was either not an Image or a corrupted image". I even tried to upload the default picture again. *g*

I submitted the problem this morning using the feedback box, but thought I'd post it here so that people know it's a general problem and not just something with a list they're using. Sorry about this - it should be fixed now. Let us know if you're still experiencing it. Btw, we know that the 'nearly' correct should show you the word afterwards - this is still glitching, but should be fixed asap.

It won't give me new words T.T Also I had a miss click on die Kartoffel so I only have 86% on it (stupid touchpad). Are you only doing the demo? If so it's only 10 words. Anyone have a suggestion as to a good German wordlist to use after the demo?

We have a team of volunteer native speakers in various languages (including Spanish) tweaking and correcting all the uploaded words, building up a core of carefully-moderated content that we can trust. We're getting faster at this, but it's going to take us a little longer to get to critical mass. If you'd like to help make this happen, email ben@ - we'd love to have you on board. Great job with your learning!
