We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on. Posts of the following nature are banned: 1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post. 2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no. 3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture. 4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments. Last chance, guys. This thread is for dating advice and sharing dating stories. While gender roles, sociocultural norms, and our biological imperative to reproduce are all tangentially related, these subjects are not the main purpose of the thread. Please AVOID these discussions. If you want to discuss them at length, go to PMs or start a blog. If you disagree with someone's ideologies, state that you disagree with them and why they won't work from a dating standpoint and move on. We will not tolerate any lengthy derailments that aren't directly about dating. | ||

Sex is fun, so is dating - just date loads of women, gain experience, aim for models so you let your brain figure out that mutual attraction is way more important than absolute "hotness" once you won't get satsifaction and if one of the girls happens to be special enough that all the others you are dating/sleeping with why not go monogamous. | ||

It creates the paradox of projecting the want to be monogamous and happy in the long run causing the likelihood of that being much lower. It's similar to when you are fixated on dating 10/10 super hot successful girl that all guys are drooling over and people around you keep telling you how gorgeous she is and you feel she's way above your league. You focus on trying to lock her down instead of actually seeing if she's compatible with you in the first place. EDIT: And that's why I think Bloodwhore really needs to start dating and banging model, 10/10 type girls as judged by society. To realize that a girl being a 10/10 has very little to do with being a good person to commit to. | ||

And why I would aim for something a bit more serious is because my sex attempts have been severely sub par lol. I've gone from girl to girl for a while now. I had hopes that I could get some valuable practice if it was a bit more serious. Not sure I'm cut out for a relationship though, I'm pretty fucked up, I like my own time a bit too much. | ||

It's just one of many factors and fixating and having a goal of one like hotness, a girl who will be your girlfriend etc etc. is a recipe for failure. But yeah I do see the inconsistency of logic here a bit. ~ Btw the last part is a non - issue. Focusing on your passions will hardly ever be an issue as long as you can find 1-2 days per week to focus on the girl for a few hours. And if you can't find the will to spend and afternoon or two per week with a girl, I'd argue that you shouldn't be in a committed relationship with her in the first place. | ||
