We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on. Posts of the following nature are banned: 1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post. 2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no. 3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture. 4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments. Last chance, guys. This thread is for dating advice and sharing dating stories. While gender roles, sociocultural norms, and our biological imperative to reproduce are all tangentially related, these subjects are not the main purpose of the thread. Please AVOID these discussions. If you want to discuss them at length, go to PMs or start a blog. If you disagree with someone's ideologies, state that you disagree with them and why they won't work from a dating standpoint and move on. We will not tolerate any lengthy derailments that aren't directly about dating.

There's something about the law school environment that seems very non-conducive to romance lol. Don't worry, when you become a litigator, it will be even more obvious. =) EDIT: Not to mention that litigation is a brutal profession for anyone looking to establish and maintain a relationship.

I got banned last time I elaborated, even though the other lawyers/law students with whom I was discussing the issue agreed with me 100%. It's just an unfortunate result of the nature of the field. If nothing else, it's just a bad idea to date in an environment where everyone fixed that last part for you ![]()

How did you even manage to meet 50 different girls in a year, let alone ones that are worthy of a date (and are actually single)... That's almost quite literally 1 girl a week. You are either exaggerating what happened or literally have too much spare time and spent all of it trying to find women.

But yes, hardly feasible - unless we are talking meeting people on Tinder, going for a cup of coffee and then on to the next. A girl friend of mine had weeks with 8 scheduled dates - but she is very result-orientated and wanted a boyfriend. Ya he didn't quote what he was replying to had to reread the thread to figure it out lol.

Are you really that mad just because not every girl lusts after some lame, white collar tool who can provide for them? Seriously, the profile you've described sounds awful, like a dime-a-dozen office drone who will bore you with expense-reports and whose biggest struggle in life is when the copier doesn't work properly. Of course he's the wet dream of every girl looking for a baby-daddy, he can provide for them while he is still plenty busy so they can continue fucking profile-2-type guys. Lastly, if you haven't figured it out yet, blacks and Asians are messaging him because making it an interracial relationship would at least make it slightly exciting. and this type of post is why the dating thread would not be as awesome without sixstrings

Surely not every girl you meet has a boyfriend, only the ones that catch eye. And since great girls usually have boyfriends, you think that every girl has one.
