Bachmann, on the other hand, did all the dirty work for him lol. Tea party martyrdom indeed. Attacking Romney on Romneycare is unnecessary and fairly unproductive, if not counterproductive. People get that Romney enacted universal health care in Massachusetts, which is all that they really need to know if you're looking to torpedo Romney. Romney's response to the Romneycare issue has been carefully honed and is excellent. If I was running against Romney, I wouldn't want to give more people an opportunity to hear what Romney has to say. EDIT: As for Bachmann, she's going down in flames in this debate. She's not going to be relevant for much longer.

Perry does well to bring up solid numbers of law enforcement he'll need, his response will knock over Santorum's initial

Perhaps he is more shrewd than Bachmann. ![]() I'm pretty sure any naturalized immigrant knows much more about American history than Michele Bachmann... edit: yeah, and Huntsman's treason comment was not cool :/

I've been paying a lot of attention to his responses to all of the attacks that he has fielded during the past two debates. His responses have generally been very good, and, in many cases, he's come out looking better than the attacker. I know that Perry has a "rap" of being dumb, but I certainly haven't seen it so far during the debates.

I understand wanting to trim the unnecessary regulations across all sectors, but you can't put the fox in charge of the hen house. edit: Ron Paul once again with the right stance about foreign policy. And Santorum is dumb. "THEY WANT TO KILL US BECAUSE OF WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE STAND FOR!" What a goddamn moron. Sorry, I'm not usually this rude about it but that is so completely wrong it's disgusting.

The bestay for them to get a republican in the right house is to elect someone like romney or Ron Paul who has a high enough iq / isn't too far to the right to get independent votes.
