Cut this shit out immediately. We've been over this so many times in this thread. If you want to know how Norway feels about this, you should search it up in this thread. It will be pretty much representable for the majority of norwegians. No one is letting anyone get away with murder, our laws are quite capable to handle this, our way.

Well first of all you dont get out after 20 years. It's like this in many European countries (Denmark even has a maximum of only 16 years). But mentally insane people, or people who are a threat to society will NEVER get out. Everyone in Europe knows this, it's just how the law is, at least in the countries i know of.
Second of all, you want murders to "think twice"? You realize these people are insane, right? They dont think rationally, otherwise they wouldnt kill 100 people, especially kids. And by killing him you'd just be making him a martyr, what good would that do. I'd say life in prison is almost worse than death.

He will never be let lose. You're delusional if you think so. I'm not delusional, obviously you don't know much about Norway's laws. 20 something odd years is the max prison sentence. Sigh. At least read the OP before commenting.

You obviously have no idea how Norwegian laws work, you'll find plenty information about it in this thread. Stop discussing this already.

Obviously you didn't read the OP.

sorry. i'd kill him myself if i knew where he lived

Doesn't even matter, he should of been shot in the head right on the spot he doesn't deserve to be fed or given a free place to live. A lot of the members on this site obviously take a very pacifist approach to this tragic event but I cant see that as the right approach when it comes to so many innocent people being killed with no remorse.

Danish PM encourages Danes to observe a minute of silence tomorrow at 12:00 together with the Norwegian people. Will be joining.

Besides, he will probably face isolation for his 21+ years in jail (for his own safety. I don't believe he will be very popular with the other inmates either), which is much worse than a bullet between the eyes.

This. He will never be set free from prison, and most of Norway would not have him killed, because that drags us down to his level.

So you'd rather your county be viewed as heavily pacifist that lets people get away with murder? I wouldn't even give him the prestige associated with being a barbarian either. Hes lower ranked than a piece of shit.

The sadest thing is that he got what he wanted; attention.

He wont. Yes, "Forvaring" is only if they think he isn't fit for society, and isn't directly connected with the crimes he did. But I don't think any judge in the history of ever will deem someone who killed 84 kids and 9 with the bomb (and counting btw), to be safe to put back in society.

As much as I'd like him to be tortured to death, that is not the way civilized people deal with criminals, no matter how evil the criminal is. Killing is wrong, unless out of self defence. We're not letting him get away with murder, we're putting him lifelong in prison.
And besides, killing him will give him exactly what he wants, do you want that to happen? I bet he'd even go with a smile to his execution, we're pissing him off by not giving way and standing true to our justice system.
If we want to have peace in our world we need to treat everyone the same.
