No that would be greed, power, and corruption.

If I take a shit, and then mash it up and submerge it in alcohol so that all the germs are killed, can I eat it and not get sick?
Please hurry answer. Fridge is empty!

Probably, i think the main problem with shit is that there are a lot of toxins in there, considering it is basically what your body wants to get rid off. It also means that there is pretty much no nutritional value whatsoever in it, so eating shit could be an incredibly effective diet if you want to lose weight. Most of the toxins will go out the next time it passes through anyways.

Unethical mining practices, warfare involving child soldiers, massacre and rebel groups yes. Genocides, no. From my memory no ethnic groups were annihilated for the sake of blood diamonds though violence is a common factor.

If it's 55*F (~13*C) degrees outside with little to no wind, is it warm enough to wear shorts? My coworker and I are in a heated debate. I say it's way too cold and he said that he would wear shorts if it were 40 outside. What about you TL?

Does anyone remember a video about armwrestling at an event (maybe Homestory cup). It was with two koreans (one of them was MMA I think). The winner arm wrestled against Khaldor and got crushed. It showed up in a "This week in Starcraft" but I don't remember which.
Help?

I'm sure it's a matter of personal preference, and someone who grew up in a northern country will have a different opinion on what "cold" is than someone who was born closer to the equator.
Personally, my rule of thumb is that above 70°F(21°C), shorts and short-sleeves. Between 60-70°F(15-21°C), either long-sleeves/jacket OR pants. Below 60°, I generally wear both a jacket and pants. I imagine that with a thick coat, I could be mildly comfortable at 55° in shorts, but I see no reason to risk it -- I'd prefer to err on the side of too much clothing over not enough, since you can always remove layers.

Are you from a warm area or something? In NY a lot of people tend to sport T shirts and shorts once it hits 50 degrees F.

I walked home from the gym the other day in shorts and a t-shirt, and the temperature was 36 degrees Midwest represent!

The whole discussion is an ego battle over the dumbest thing and people exaggerate things or bend the truth more than when they say how much they can bench. I work on the beach in Florida and I see people from Canada bundled up in 50 degree weather and people who live here still in summer clothes, or even Farvacola's story walking home from the gym in 36 degrees after the gym is totally different compared to having to be outside for an extended period of time like waiting for a bus stop after just sitting inside for a while.

I can tolerate colder temperatures than you so ha!
|
I'm thinking of it as more of a geographical difference than an ego trip. I've been to Wisconsin and seen a lot of farvacola's midwestern people not wear coats in really cold temperatures. In general they seem to dress crazier than new yorkers in the winter. I think there's something to it.

I did the Polar Bear Extraordinary Challenge Plunge or Swim in waters colder than ice with waves more extreme than Michelle Malkin.
