See 1, but also chicken wings or drumsticks... and in all honesty, anything that hasn't been pre-chopped before landing on your plate. Such as the aforementioned steak.

I think there is an item of etiquette about which hand you hold which in. My mother used to try and teach me that so obviously I don't recall which way it is. Knife in the right and fork in the left hand, always. And when the knife is not present, fork in the right hand. And no scooping action with the fork in the left hand (ie using the knife too).

Popcorn might make sense if you don't like getting your fingers sticky with sugar.
Soup could work if you take enough time, and just suck the small amount of liquid that will stick to the chopsticks off them. But i doubt you will manage to not starve doing that.

Heh, everyone ready to have their mind blown? In Europe popcorn is typically covered in sugar, in NA its usually covered in butter/salt.

And the best popcorn is a mix of the two. Hard to get in the states tho; have to make it yourself.

We have that here too, typically called kettlecorn. Unless I'm confusing what kettlecorn is.

Unless I'm confusing what kettlecorn is. It's similar, but still different. Kettle corn is more a method of cooking the popcorn with sugar, whereas in Europe sugar(plain white sugar) is added afterwards as a 'topping'.

Uhh where in Europe are you talking about? Scandinavians only use salt.

Anyone know how useful buying virus programs is? My computer is fine, but I sort of wonder if it'll improve anything.

Most virus programs are basically scams at this point. If everything is running fine, then nothing is going to improve from running some sort of antivirus software.
Some of the free antivirus stuff is pretty good, but the Windows Defender is actually pretty decent these days, combined with the fact that most viruses these days actually try to hide their presence as much as possible to create botnets means its not a huge issue for the average person.
Personally, I'd say feel free to download free antivirus, but its not worth paying for anything.

I think it is worth your time to have Malwarebytes installed on your computer, even if you don't regularly scan your computer. It's great as a virus remover in case anything goes through

I'm writing a paper on the analytic and algebraic topology of locally euclidean parameterization of infinitely differentiable Reimannian manifolds. I have no idea wtf my professor wants in this paper and I was thinking of just plagiarizing the assignment. What do?

Talk to the professor about what he's looking for?
Doesn't seem like a tough issue if that's your problem. If you don't know the content (which is possible, because people who choose to make the name of what their doing sound complicated, as in your case, when it's really not that bad, often don't understand what's going on), then just give the textbook a read, look at some sample problems, etc. to gain a better understanding of the material. Or read other papers on the same topic and learn from them, lots of options available!
|
Plagiarizing definitively not the best plan. Can work, has a chance to get spotted and get you instantly thrown out, and even if it works, if at some point in the future you become famous or someone takes a closer look for whatever reason, you are fucked.

Of course, you already know the answer. Time to contact your friend in Minsk. You know, the one with the friend in Pinsk and so on.
You might turn out to be a few decades late however.

You're obviously wrong, if some guy on TL makes broad statements about other people's experiences on a nerd forum, what can I do but believe him!
Question to Europeans: do you add cheese to your popcorn?
