The European nationalities easiest to identify visually are Finns and Russians. For most others, it's a spectrum of possibilities. When I was in Riga one of my idiosyncratic tourist activities was pick out people on the street and guess whether they were Latvian or Russian. Also like guessing a German's regional origins by their accent. It's all in pursuit of a great and noble truth. | ||
