She is a shock jock like Rush Limbaugh/Howard Stern/Glenn Beck etc. Hope you guys know she makes her bread and butter on saying controversial, biased statements and that her plastic surgery is paid for by sponsors. Kind of odd that her blog entry states these things rather clearly, yet a lot of TLers in this thread seem to be speaking as if she is doing this for no reason, no life, etc. She makes money off it. She has plenty of reason. She's not a "loser" for doing so, in fact she is a very big winner. I don't get at all how anyone here could call her a loser, when you're literally doing the same thing she is (sharing your thoughts on the internet to discuss and get attention from others) yet NOT getting paid for it like she does. But still not on Charlie Sheen's level of "winning". Wont bother commenting on the blog and the fight between them, it's just too bad that people can't grow up.

To be fair, her statement about Haiti is more malicious than anything that Peter Coffin has said or done. Making broad denouncements isn't worse then personal attacks. Which is worse, me saying "Grandmas should be euthanized", or going to your grandmas house yelling at her". This is a subjective point, but I'd like to point out that in your example the latter is a mere personal attack, while the former is an advocacy for genocide against the elderly. I'd think most people would agree that an argument for genocide is more offensive than a personal insult.

I can emphasized that he did something that spiralled out of control completely. Both are pathetic. The guy however did not know what he gave him self into. Empathy should not be restricted to closer friends. He probably has some real life problems and he seems to have vented them through the internet. I do not feel that what happened to him was deserved even if he did wrong. I do not believe in "an eye for an eye logic"

That people figured out his fake girlfriend was fake? So in other words, he deserves for other people to think that he has a fake girlfriend? That's his natural right, and its inhumane that this should be taken away from him? Its lucky nobody cared enough about him to notice until now, if anything.

I think it's more the fact that he was harassing and insulting e-famous people about being fake, while being incredibly fake himself. I don't really like either of them but the hypocrisy shown by this Peter dude is ridiculous. It's perfectly fine if someone wants to vent by creating a fake persona online. Tons of people do that. It's a different story altogether for someone to create a fake persona and then go after others with it.

I got the impression that the relationship being staged was real relationship and not online relationship. (you can correct me on this). How can she trap that if she didnt pull a face off and bang him on date nights.

Say hello to Peter Coffin/Kimi Kobayashi/Legal Team, and now this - http://rantsandretardicles.blogspot.com/ I feel sorry for this guy.... not. This is what you get for being so racist towards Asians. =3 PS: Well done, Xiaxue! Well, she is a popular Singaporean blogger but I do not really follow her that much; she is controversial too over here. =) But still, you have done us Singaporeans proud! EDIT: Here is an old video by Peter Coffin, kicking his own nuts for a TV show. Welcome to the Internet!

That's his natural right, and its inhumane that this should be taken away from him? Its lucky nobody cared enough about him to notice until now, if anything. If it was only people finding out I would have no objections to it. But if you look at his youtube account and his reddit post its just people attacking him (and for some reason he is defending himself) I am guessing this is why I kinda side with the guy # Superficial persona: This girl represents the lack of empathy and distance that has, for many, come to characterize the modern "internet society". The media constantly shows us different versions of reality in the forum of reality shows and similar entertainment, and with so many different representations of reality there seems to be a disconnect. It gives the feeling that people do not understand it other and live life without a common connection. That previously, people were just people, and everyone could relate, but today people are "personas" and everything becomes surreal and distant. If you look as the way this girl presents herself, communicates or writes in her entries, she represents this disconnect - this emptiness. It all seems to scream of superficial interaction, self-justifications, impersonal presence. The fact that she promotes vile and anger just seems to enhance this. Dissasociation: More "mature" people might simply find the girl's childish outburst or hostile tone, and wish to distance themselves from the girl. They don't really try to understand the motives or circumstance, but simply relate to the raw act. The people who feel this will generally feel that such behavior is disruptive or worse, and therefore feel strongly about calling it out or dissasociating themselves. I really think that the guy is the one that is bullied even if he attacked first. She has "the masses" behind him and I agree with what Asjo has written.
