Istanbul is a great city to live if you have a lot of money, not so much if you don't. People from villages all around the turkey travel there with hopes of becoming rich. We are not a rich country and there are around 2 million turkish citizens without a job. If you add million plus syrian refugees to that i really don't know what those guys were expecting. There are beggars literally everywhere and i have seen syrian kids stealing stuff from a shop in Ankara with my own eyes(they were probably hungry) Burning that kids face with hot water seems exaggerated but i can see why it might happen and why people don't like them.

+ Show Spoiler + Yemen's Shia Houthi rebels have announced that they have dissolved parliament and installed a five-member "presidential council" which will form a transitional government to govern for two years. In a televised statement on Friday from the Republican Palace in the capital, Sanaa, the rebel group said that it would set up a transitional national council of 551 members to replace the dissolved legislature. The "constitutional declaration", attended by tribal and military representatives as well as by the outgoing interior and defence ministers, came after a Wednesday deadline set by the Shia militia for political parties to resolve the crisis passed with no agreement. Honestly, that's sad, but h is family should really thank those Jordanians. It's almost certainly a better death than the beheading or immolation that ISIS had planned for him.

BEIRUT: Syrian Kurdish fighters have seized dozens of villages from ISIS jihadis around the town of Kobani on the Turkish border, expanding their control in the area, a monitor said Friday. The Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) had captured 101 villages around Kobani since seizing it from ISIS January 26 after four months of fighting, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. "They now control territory ranging from 15 to 25 kilometres (nine to 16 miles) from Kobane to the east, west and south," Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman said. The small town became a key battleground, with ISIS poised at one point to overrun it and cement its grip on a large stretch of territory along the border. Since January 26, YPG forces have advanced steadily in the surrounding countryside, recapturing dozens of villages, some no larger than a few dozen homes. (Heavy Clashes in Outskirts of city at rebel checkpoints + SAA is heavily striking town with Artillery, Citizens flee'ing in truckloads). AMMAN (Reuters) - The death toll after nearly four years of civil war in Syria has risen to 210,060, nearly half of them civilians, but the real figure is probably much higher, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday. The Observatory, which is based in Britain and has a network of activists across Syria, said that 10,664 children and 6,783 women were among the dead. Reuters tried to contact Syrian authorities for comment, but they were not immediately available. Source
