I give it a solid 8/10, if only because it's a decent movie on its own, but is a less than spectacular sequel to the greatest Batman movie to date (IMHO). I thought the "romance" between Wayne and Tate was so shallow. The movie didn't have me invested in the relationship, so the big reveal near the end was a nice "oh-shit" moment, but it didn't hit me in my heart like Rachel's death did in TDK. The kiss at the end between Hathaway and Wayne was unnecessary and trite. + Show Spoiler + Robin reveal was fucking awesome The Wayne-Alfred drama was great (but got ruined by some asshole in the theatre). And many other little comments/nitpicks. But the worst offense of this movie to my nerddom is: + Show Spoiler + how Bane was so anticlimactically "killed/taken out." You spend the whole fucking movie setting up an intelligent, ruthless villain only to decide that you want to switch gears to a weaker villain/actor in Tate/Talia. Something about having him taken out by Catwoman and a rocket from the batcycle was just... wrong. I loved Bane by the hour and a half mark so I hope you see why it got to me. The final death scene of Talia/Tate was just god-awful. The cliche closing of the eyes, cock head away death is just laughable, mainly because she can't pull it off. Want to read a plot-hole? + Show Spoiler + How did Talia/Tate die from the crash but not Commissioner Gordon. Fuckin guy was in a large metal crate with a nuclear bomb and just climbed out like it was nothing. I'm splitting hairs after this point. But as the DK TRILOGY, it should've been greater than the second. They should've + Show Spoiler + kept Bane at the forefront till the last 5-10 minutes Thanks for reading. Hope you guys enjoy more than I did.  EDIT* - I've heard some great advice from a friend that probably would've increased viewing quality tenfold: Pregame before your screening by watching the first two movies. Everything feels very coherent, and while not completely without holes, raises your emotional investment in this movie. Could easily give you an extra star or two in your opinion of this film. | ||

My googling skills are failing me. Something about a blackout of Hollywood movies, wtf?! Apparently they didn't even release TDK in China, I find this hard to believe. I really want to watch this movie soon  | ||

Think having heath ledger alive to play the joker couldve made this 100x better if done properly, think someone posted earlier on it but ill put a few thoughts into it real quick + Show Spoiler + Having joker a live would have given great counter balance to the destruction of gothem. Bane one side with this more formulated/legislative approach. Jokers pure chaos, and catwoman in the middle. With Talia dangling the strings from behind the scenes. Joker working his part from the prison until their escape and bane more so just oriented within the league of shadows. They could or could not work together, and it'd still be kinda cool. I also feel a lot of banes lines wouldve felt better from joker, but that might just be my bias for his character. Maybe to grand a scale though for 1 movie, but the idea has been expanding in my head after someone mentioned a small part of it + Show Spoiler + Also finding out bane had a love story to him at the very end after being considered so dark just killed a lot of his built up character. Joker was NUTS, bane was just trying to lash out for injustice against his love? Maybe im wrong about the love aspect between him and talia and that wasnt implied and i did so improperly. It just being a protector role, but even that feels weaker to me + Show Spoiler + Could probably just skip to the end and watch it a few more times though  | ||
