The Dark Knight got a lot of hype and people loved it, but it was hardly the masterpiece of film people make it out to be, and certainly not ground breaking in anything relating to its nominations that year. I hope this new one is good, I really enjoyed the first one, although I didn't enjoy the second one quite as much, its actually quite boring when I rewatch it, can't explain why though. | ||

Nolan's movies are great blockbusters, but they're not masterpieces. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I say fuck! Bane was... ridiculous. I had all my hopes up after they positioned him as a more organized, more cerebral criminal who made Joker look like a kid having tantrums. But the reveal was poor. Even the "resurrection" part was contrived and a little unmotivated. Still, definitely must see, preferably in IMAX. Much would be lost if not seen in IMAX. This has been an awesome trilogy. | ||
