Note: a number of sources are saying that Beast Master Casey has been suspended for 4 days and that the rat boy was suspended for 21. Look around for more sources please.

How do you know that they didn't consciously know that what they were doing was wrong and dangerous but did it anyway? At that age you know not to pick on people. Parents are suppose to teach you to respect others. Kids choose to disobey and prey on people. While Casey was defending himself with a potentially deadly move. He was still defending himself. I don't expect Casey to have an extensive martial arts background. Do you?

Then how the fuck are we arguing about this?

Okay maybe if he landed wrong he could've paralyzed the kid. But he's punching a kid who's way bigger then him. That's the stupidest thing you could hope to do. If I were in his situation I wouldn't of left the kid after throwing him. It would've gotten a lot uglier. Also, he threw the kid on his side. It wasn't a straight down head into the pavement. Kid's retarded for messing with him, and Casey was totally right in dealing with him like this.

When you poke a bear with a stick what do you expect? I mean there's at least 3 kids in on this (the one who jumps in, the camera and the moron punching him). And these aren't isolated either. The whole class would be in on it. I've seen lesser forms of bullying, it isn't just the ones picking the fight. I definitely agree with the shock factor. He could've punched the other kid, but then it would just turn into a squabble of 3v1. Okay maybe if he landed wrong he could've paralyzed the kid. But he's punching a kid who's way bigger then him. How many think do you that have fallen down from trees on their necks unscathed? No way the kids neck could have snapped. And even if it did, if you play with fire you'll get burnt. If someone attacks you, you can defend yourself with the means at your disposal. If you pick a fight, you'd better accept the consequences. No, necks slap pretty easily. When you out of a tree you have at least a little control over what part of your body you land on (usually back/torso area). When someone picks you up, turns you around, then throws you on the ground... ... well, if you're going down head first you're pretty much done for. Also, how dumb must that kid be for punching someone three times his size in the face =.=;;;

People break their necks all the time diving into pools, and that's with water protecting them (anything less than 10 feet deep is actually unsafe for diving off even a normal diving board). People break their necks falling off bicycles. Certainly being slammed on one's head like this, in an uncontrolled way, on solid pavement, with no protection, could easily result in a broken neck. I realized that the kid landed partially on his side, and didn't actually break his neck, but he very easily could have.

Don't you worry about me though :>, I still have a very enjoyable life, I have good looks despite my lacking social skills (wich I can learn and improve upon). Maybe I'm better off having been bullied, as it made sure I didn't become like those kids who didn't do shit in school. I can't blame them though, bullying is just part of our instinct (and I did it a bit too).

Sure, it is possible that Casey had seen this specific maneuver somewhere and decided to execute said technical maneuver that involves body positioning and grip change, all the while the other kid is trying to punch him. On the other hand, I's also possible that Casey is merely trying to grasp at the other kid in any way possible to stop the punches. Once he had some kind of a hold, he lifted and dropped him in the most expected manner given their positions. I think the second scenario is far more likely. However, we cannot say for sure which scenario is the truth. I do think that it is very unfair to make such assumptions about Casey's intentions when in all likelihood he was not thinking straight.

1) if you bully someone and they retaliate you better be ready 2) Casey should have to suffer the consequences. I used to go to a tennis camp every summer for 1-2 weeks and around my 4th year (I was 16-17 at the time. I had some roommates that decided to give me a nickname (which strangely enough my brothers had given me years before which may have attributed to my snapping) and generally pull pranks. On the 4th night of camp I heard them scheming another one which included the assistance of one of the counselors. Well after I revealed that I knew about the plan they modified and succeeded and I snapped. I jumped out of my bunk and ran across the room and jumped up to their ring leaders bed pinning his hands under my knees and putting one hand across his neck chocking him and my thumb from the other hand onto his eye socket. I gave him and everyone else in the room a little peptalk about what could happen if I heard the nickname or even suspected anything might happen to me for the rest of the week. The next morning I heard the counselor who helped them asked what happened and they all said things to the effect of "yea it didnt go to well" Now I had full knowledge that I could have been thrown out of camp instantly for my actions which would have destroyed my chances of being employed by them (which I expected and eventually did happen) but was completely ready to suffer the consequences of my actions, and take all the other campers + counselor with me if it came up. In the end the rest of the week was pretty enjoyable. A few years later I ran into the ringleader at a tennis tournament and he didn't remember me at all. Just goes to show the bullies aren't nearly as affected as the bullied.

It has already been immortalized there... edit: my parents always told me 'screw what the school officials say, if someone is attacking you defend yourself; we will support/defend you if that happens' One time in like third grade my dad got a call at work "Mr. <name>, I am calling you because today at recess your son was caught beating up 3 other students. My dad responded with "WHAT? He BEAT UP THREE other students? No. What happened was he was defending himself from a group of three students." Apparently the principal didn't get it lol
