Hello everyone,
I recently bought a solid state hard drive, and swapped out my laptop drive and put it into an enclosure, went to format it, and couldn't come up with a creative enough name for it! I don't know if you're like me or not, and like naming your flash drives/hard drives/networks ridiculous names or not, but I thought I'd ask if you guys had any suggestions!
I've got a few hard drives, named:
home network - Homeworld
NAS HDD - The Mothership
Flash drive - Jumpy
external drive - Shuttlecock
Desktop drive - Supreme Viceroy Datashark
Laptop drive - Booterous Maximus
I found some other ones that I found mildly humorous:
Terra Firma
Reality Bytes
Baby Got Backup (lol...)
Anyways, post your funny hard drive names!

I don't name my HDDs, but I did just find out I'm using 250 gb of space on my HDD while renaming it and I can't figure out where about 200 gb of that usage is coming from.

I had one named DARKBLADE so I named my next one LIGHTBLADE and now have another named MOONBLADE.
Originality is dead in me.

I love how multiple people have their drives named Porn and try to tell us that there is no porn on them. I'm sure the same can't be said about the other drives.
My drives are Local Drive and DVD RW Drive. I like simple things.

I use country names frequently. On my current computer i have indonesia, micronesia, and macronesia (i know this one is made up). I name my computers after harry potter characters. (current compy is hermione <3)

My previous computer was named Nebuchadnezzar after the Morpheus' ship from The Matrix, later on I found out they named the ship after a wine bottle size, so when I bought my new computer its name was the next size up Melchior.
When I got my netbook I went one size down from Nebuchadnezzar and named it Balthasar.
Melchior, Balthasar and Gaspar are the names of the three magi supercomputers from Evangelion, and the wise men, but Gaspar wasn't the name of a wine bottle size, so I gave the name to my mass storage drive.
I name my iPods after the Belmonts from the Castlevania series. My old one was Richter, and my current one is Leon, though those names don't go in any order.

Other is for random things like pics, books, fonts, etc. Receptacle is for downloads, uploads from others, and copies. Videos A is for movies and the occasional anime, Videos B is for TV series, and Videos C is for things like documentaries, sports, stand-up comedy, etc. Music is for music, duh :p

The combination of my inability to keep things organized and coming up with names that are actually practical leads me to usually just pick a really stupid name for these kinds of stuff and stick with it.
That's why my hard drives are named:
C: Local Disk
D: StuffzZ
E: m0r3 StuffzZ
F: 0th3r Stuff
H: StuffzZ II
And no, it does not get much easier to keep track of where I keep what with time...
