It's thin and sleek and minimalist, which I like. If you have a small or average-sized wrist, you may like a thin face like this one. The OCD in me wouldn't be able to handle the V at the 5 o'clock mark though.

Looks a very generic minimalist watch with a quartz movement a la DW or any of dozens of similar watches. Probably not worth the 200 - 1,000 they will charge for it ~_~

Every watch I looked at was 150$, which is about 70, let's say 80€ with import and stuff. I'd say that's fine for a watch of that sort. I find them hard to find around here with so many people prefering their watch to be clustered with "useless stuff" I, personally, have no use in.

Memento from my grandfather, I got it when I was a kid and just stashed it for safe keeping back then, always assumed it was worthless/fake that he bought from some holiday as he wasn't really one to own luxury watches but I recently started wondering if it could have some value other than sentimental. Tried googling some Breitling watches and they seem more detailed than this, I'm not really a watch person so can't even tell for sure.

Either way I'll probably go get the battery changed and size adjusted for my smaller wrist.

Need some help on getting a new watch. I broke my last one (a Seiko ~100, battery charged with a stopwatch built in) and now I want something new.

Looking in the $100 range (still in lawschool /sigh). I have small wrists, and I want something that's not battery charged.

Hopefully this isn't too bad of a necro

A few years back, Seiko 5 would have been one of the best bang for bucks at that range, like 50 bucks for an automatic with a nice movement. But I just checked and the price seems to have increased like crazy :/

Seiko 5 is still the most affordable automatic, and lots of choice in looks n feels. No stopwatch on an auto, however

I've been wanting a Corum bubble watch for years, and finally decided to pull the trigger. Found a chronograph model near mint in box (stopped making them in 2005) and got a nice deal on it. Might sell it down the road once I save up more money to get the Corum bubble bat version, but they are so hard to find at the moment.

I hadn't either before a couple years ago. I was house/dogsitting for one of my mother's friends (they live in this huge 4million dollar mansion, is insane) and I glanced in their watch case. I saw the usual suspects, submariner, omegas, etc. then the corum bubble caught my eye. Thought was kind of goofy at first with the huge sapphire dome, but the more I looked, the more I wanted one. ^_^

Just copped this at TJ Maxx in blue the battery reserve is shit and i have no idea what the movement is but its a nice looking automatic.

No but really, for what use? I have a PRG270 which is probably the cheapest on the list. Like $100 for triple sensor and so on. I recommend it to anyone as long as you get the versions with mineral crystal and tough solar. They have a cheapest version with actually a plastic crystal which will get messed up in no time.

I noticed you're only advertising Casios. The thing about those watches is due to their functionality they're also huge. Does anyone use Suunto? I looked at them because they looked like they wore sleeker but because of reviews I went with Casio for durability.
