I hate KJI and I'm really sorry for both Koreas, but making NK "absolute evil" à-la-Bush without realizing that western democracy are in fact not behaving much better is a bit silly too.
Except that western democracy doesn't forcibly starve the population and subject them to intense propaganda.

I would say that North Korea's military is the more powerful of the two, though that's not an extremely relevant point considering the proximity of massive US forces to the area. Either way, I think North Korea is steadily continuing their landslide towards destruction.

Because even if NK even has no nuclear weapons they still have massiv amounts of artillery and any kind of serious military exchange would lead to thousands if not many more deaths in SK. In addition SK is not prepared for a collapsing NK.

You can't expect any nation to 'do something' about the NK problem, because there isn't a whole lot you can do. NK is a cornered cat, only kept calm by aid from SK, China, Western nation and so forth.
They know that we know that if we stop trading/aiding NK they will starve and then be forced to go to war, as they simply won't have any other options. It's a retarded situation and I believe that if anyone is going to sort it out it has to be North Korea, though I'm not sure how that is going to happen.

I don't think the other countries really worry about. The only ones with military capacities of matter are India and Pakistan, and it doesn't influence them as far as I understand. Southeast Asian Countries don't have weight in this dimensions (Russia, China, NK, SK, US, maybe Australia), so it boils down to the usual contenders. I sincerely hope Russia and China step in and show NK the border of mockery.
And it's a wonder Bshad is still around here...just ignoring him seems to be the best way.

The USA, France, Britain, and several other countries have actively condemned North Korea's actions. Russia and China are telling the Koreas to calm the fuck down. Japan is preparing for the worst, and have explicitly told China to be tougher on NK.

It looks to me like anyone who is in the general area (i.e. can get affected by nuclear fallout, should it come to that) are seeking peace at all costs, while countries overseas are telling North Korea that they suck and should stop sucking. In other words, business as usual, except with DEFCON 1 thrown in.

"0955: India deploys 36,000 extra troops along its border with China. "
Not sure if this was randomly thrown in or what, but why is India getting all rattled by this stuff? Are they foreseeing NK getting attacked and China moving to support?

The troops were mobilized before the attack, as far as I know. The two events don't seem to be connected, but they're both significant.

This appears to be a bit random, but India is more an Ally to the USA. If shit hits the fan and all sides join the conflict India would most likely join the United States (if they can't stay neutral).

Kespa recently posted an interview of pro-Starcraft player reactions to the North Korean aggression. My korean is very bad, so i cannot produce a full translation, but in short:
Reach apologises for not stoping the incoming artillery pieces, resulting in the destabalizing of the global scene. Most military estimatations state that Reach could easily have deflected the hour long barrage by simply staring across the DMZ and causing Kim Jong-il to shit his pants and making the shells drop out of the sky in intimidation of his manliness. Reach states that he was busy satisfying all nine members of the Korean pop girl band: Girls' Generation, and learned of the incident several hours after the orgy, which caused a minor earthquake in his disrtict.
Meanwhile Flash criticised the decision to fast expand to Yeonpyeong island, but felt confident as the nine mutalisk 2 hatch only resulted 2 SCV deaths. He urged the SK generals to aim for a turtle style, long term, macro victory. Flash could not finish the interview however, due to an eye twitching issue, and was promptly taken away by his handlers.
Fantasy also contributed to the SK board of National Defense, presenting a plan to send one of every SK unit in a dumbfounding attack on Pyongyang. His plan was later scrapped for being retarded.

![[image loading]](http://i744.photobucket.com/albums/xx86/MrHoon/___Crapbox/asdd.jpg) Odd how fast "Two marines dead" can turn into "Two people dead", quite a difference somehow. Man, shit's fucked.

Well I re-read the article about it and it said that there are now as many troops on the India-China border than in 1986-87 when the two countries almost went to war.
It can't be a coincidence. It seems like the Koreans are spiraling towards a war and then eventually the US and China will get involved which might spark India to do something too.
