(overwhelmingly negative opinions FYI)
But it's probably the wrong thread for you if you don't really care about sound quality. There's a gaming headset thread in the tech support forum if that's the kind of thing you're into.
Edit: JSH beat me to it rof.

I see, thanks for the tip.

Don't like the 701 very much. It's pretty bad with electronic music. Didn't like the AD900 for that reason too.
I remember reading that somewhere but I'm more into vocal, instrumental music, really not a fan of dubstep, electronic etc.

I bought $100 sony earbuds; there's no options for that. Oh, and shure earbuds suck.

Be more specific Which models did you buy and why did they suck Doesn't help us if we don't know which models they are and why they are not good

Use the Audiotechnica's. Get a desktop mic if you need one.. i don't understand why you want to downgrade

I'm trying to choose between sennheiser 595, ATM50, and ATH-D700's. 120 for the first two, and 90 for the latter. Which one would be the best in terms of sound quality?

I got a pair of Bose AE2's (DayNine's headphones). they costed me a 100 bucks at costco.
Totally worth it! I usually blast my music and I still haven't blown out any speakers yet. Fantastic quality and it's extremely comfortable.

same here I hear a lot of praise for their well balanced sound and warm tones Very good for classical but the low and high ends roll off quite a bit so electronic music wont sound too nice on them

So I've finally settled on the Sennheiser HD650 with the Little Dot MK III amp, which I've read is a nice tube combo, I'm just in need of a decent standalone DAC, £100-£250 is as far as I can really go for now, any suggestions?
I'm really interested in the Keces da-151 or 152 as my DAC, I just can't find a seller anywhere, none on ebay, none come up on a Google search and their website is in full Taiwanese :/
