i've hit 290 avg in games and i'm c- someone tell them the correct answer is 500 Don't talk bullshit. NaDa himself said a progamers APM is around 300. Look at all FlaSh replays at gosugamers.net always +/- 300
..a lot of iccup players even at D level have very high apm, its actually not rare for C//++ players to have above or around 300 apm.

If you are not c- with 290 avg apm, many of your actions are unnecessary spamming. Pros spam rally too from what I understand. In fact if Flash wasted no wasted apm, and averaged 290, he'd be more effective than he is now.
what do you mean he'd be more effective than he is now? as an apm/eapm ratio, or actually a better player, because it has obviously nothing to do with being better or worst..

OMG lolol I really laughed for a good 3 minutes d00d.
Btw I was c- on iCCup and had 280-330 APM consistently and it wasn't just spam. In late game you can have 400+ without even spamming because of intense macro and huge army battles. It's funny when people who have around 20 apm think they know everything about everything. gtfo now plz kthxbye.

It's kinda sad that I actually knew all of what the article had to say about SC II.

I thought BW chart already filtered out most of the spam for the first two minutes, or are people talking about spamming in the middle of a game? Isn't that counter-productive? No one cares about apm, it's all about the win baby!

Starcraft II is in the latest issue of time magazine. The one about summer holiday being eliminated. Second to last page.

Look at all FlaSh replays at gosugamers.net always +/- 300 Many casual gamers also have around 300 APM. I think by.hero is the progamer who has the highest consistent APM. But yeah, most progamers also hover at the 300 range. Difference is, the progamers know what to do with all those actions

wow, SC was played IN SPACE. only one i didnt know.

I don't think it was played in space, I thought an astronaut just took a copy of it up to space.

I seriously don't care what those iccup C- players do. I just said it's bullshit that those progamers have 500 APM and that this article has no clue by claiming they have "only" 300.

im really sorry but this is completely wrong. firstly, its impossible to know at which point flash is "spamming", whether it is between the initial BO, during/before/after a battle, while during/before/after macroing, etc. it is in many players nature to spam random keys at times where it is irrelevant, but when actual micro occurs, players, such as flash, will obviously not continue spamming rather than actually control his units. In any case I think that you are completely wrong ^.^, but I would really enjoy hearing what your logic behind that actually was, rather than a vague "if he didnt spam, he could get more done"

Progamers do not have 500 APM, maybe except for like by.hero or something, and most are far below the 400 APM mark. Would you pay attention instead of making up random numbers, there are often times when they display the stats of a previous game or w/e that the players had played, and I think this is for both OSL/MSL, and mostly avg 300+/-.
I hope I didnt bump this for nothing ^^
