Im from a CS background. I used to have cruzified as a nick (the 13 year old in me made me do it) and thought I needed a new one, partly because it was lame and partly because 3129 other people had that nick.

So I just randomly pressed some buttons on the keyboard and it came out "ltc".

Then I thought "yeah, short for lunatic".

My current handle is just how you say each letter in ltc individually.

I used to play a rogue on wow named "Reapers". A stupid name that I made because at the time I was hooked to Mass Effect, where there was an ancient race known as the reapers, which would wipe all existance of life in the universe once every while when they felt like it. Reaper was already in use but reapers wasnt.

However reapers obviously sucks. Later on I rerolled mage, a sexy female mage. (Mage is undead female now, suits my irl self more, except the female part, though I have mid-long hair :D) I named some random stuff starting with ly, cause I had "lynn" in my head which is the sister of britney spears I believe? However I came up with the name Lithin. When I hit level 6 or so suddenly "Lythox" popped to my mind. It was so much better. A mage nukes hard so I want my name to sound like its a fricking boombox, lythox sounds booming. It also somehow combines lithium with toxic, making it sound like something dangerous.

Lythox was something completely randomly made up, and yet there is already a user on youtube using it, same for justin.tv. I don't understand how even random stuff like that can be already taken =(
Even if I modify it to something stupid like lythax and I google it, it gives results. I'm gonna stick with Lythox though since it's truly made up by me and there aren't really people using it on games or most websites, just unlucky with youtube I guess...

It's also my artist name now as I create music and draw things.

Dated a girl who was really into German things while i was in high-school and she used to listen to this song called Destillat. (Specifically the Remix of the Das Ich song that was done by VNV Nation, highly recommended). I liked how it sounded so I stuck with it. Fun fact: It means distillation or essentially, wine.

My other name is OddMoniker, which I got when I was making a new City of Heroes account after I lost my old info. Allpaca was taken (my original), Destillat was taken, so I was like "Damn I need a really unsual name....I need an OddMoniker. Done deal after that.

I think my friends and I had gotten ourselves back into Diablo II, and had another name I was using, "Dr. Professor Science M.D." Merged my favorite class and that name, so I came up with Barbarian M.D.

Sadly, periods are never allowed, so I have to settle for BarbarianMD, and hope people don't mistake MD for something else.

Currently my best handle I've ever created ever.

My grandpa on my dad's side is Japanese but I look pretty much straight white. Because of that, I have people who call me albino. Now, albino is almost sure to be taken as an id just about everywhere that you go so I had to think of something else. What I did is I translated albino to romanji (Japanese written with english letters) and have found that the id is almost never taken.

If you find this id somewhere else, it's probably me.

When i played WoW a few years back there was a guild named Sieben that I looked up to and loved the sound of the name. So when I made a toon on a different realm i was gonna use Sieben, but it was taken so I started trying different versions of it and came up with Syben. Later I found out what a "Sybian" was (if you don't know and are over 18, google it :D!

Cyclone was when I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 like, 6 years ago?
My favorite character (Tails, oyea) with his mech walker thingy called the "Cyclone".
I liked it, adopted it, but when I registered for Club Penguin (5 years ago? Forgot.) Cyclone was taken so I used Cyclone999.

Stuck with it.
(Then somehow I found a Cyclone888 on Club Penguin and said he was my biggest fan, I had a Club Penguin blog and had 500k views)

well the usual name i pick for my accounts on random websites is noaboa because thats what my grandpa used to call me when i was little.
alas i failed at making an account on TL because my internet went out right in the middle of it.
