"Clear" was taken on battle.net
changed it to "Kleer"
but that was also taken 
so I changed it to a breakdown of the two syllables: "Kle" and "er"
dropped the quotes, smashed the syllables together and "Kleander" was born!
Also Clear rhymes with Queer and I already get made fun of enough >.>

I joined TL because I was dating iNcontroL and I got into it as he would show me and talk about threads. He's freaking awesome so I wanted my name to be associated with his greatness, but the idea of being always "in control" is macho-silly, so I paid homage to his nick while subtly pointing out that, well, he's not iNcontroL of everything. In some ways I think he would agree that I am his Kryptonite. <3 Hence, there is at least one person he cannot always controL -> uNcontroLable.

EDIT: When I game I actually usually use the ID LotusKEEN, or some permutation thereof. Lotus pays homage to my adult life as a girl gamer, as my first Rock Band character was Lotus (named after a pageant euphemism for the flowery place you DON'T want to show off during the swimsuit competition). Keen is to honor the rad DOS games I played constantly as a kid that got me into gaming at all, specifically, Commander Keen. Did anyone else play that game? I remember it being SO cool, that and Captain Comic. So anyway, that's really my tag, but since most everyone is starting to know me as uNc, that's just kinda been taking over.

when I was 5 I watched this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086567/ and right there as soon as it ended I knew what I wanted to be in life: a computer/software engineer. Ever since that day I got into computers and still today that's what I have been doing all my life.
Right now I work for an Investment Firm trading financial markets and managing technologies for our corporate solutions.
that right there easily stands as the most influential moment in my life, therefore as you can imagine my id is a tribute to the main character of the movie (imdb lists him as only David but in the movie you learn his full name is David Lightman).

I used to play Tribal Trouble and then I found out about this site and totally switched to SC1(had the game for years but was only like 5 and my brother owned it + I couldn't even understand the childish Tribal Trouble(1st RTS) game which I only had the demo of at the time of 5-7) Then I got the Tribal Trouble full version and played it and Star craft until I was like 10 or 11 years old when the great bisu came and I started becoming his fan. Then I switched full on to SC1 and my ID in Tribal trouble had been 3FFA because I liked 3ffa games in Tribal Trouble but I currently hate 3FFA games in SC(soooo much harder to do and you can't just place a pylon somewhere and hide it unless the opponent doesn't know the meaning of air). I loved 3ffa games in tribal trouble since I could hide a peon anywhere on the map and it would blend in with the water on the edge of the island and I could hide it in forests too and my opponents would just keep looking for me and never find me even though there was 1. no FOW and 2. no mini map(this reason I could hide). I loved Tribal Trouble and still do when it comes to which game offers better/more epic 3FFAs.

My ID came from my Italian made Borsalino fedora. It's something that really stands out when I go out, since not many people wear hats (old hats, not caps or beanies) anymore, plus it has a four inch brim. I always wanted a hat like that because I loved gangster movies and the 90's Batman cartoon. Also when learning about the Civil War there was a southern elite group called the Black Hats.
Also however, it is a term used to denote malicious hackers so sometimes I think people get the wrong idea.
I used to go by Zeit which is German for time, but that is impossible to get in a lot of places.

Met a girl with this spelling of Jayme back when I was 6 years old. We were friends for a decade before she moved out of the country.
I quite like this name for girls though, call it HOMAGE.

Back in like 4th grade when I was starting out at SC i had the name ])arkTemplar back when you could use symbols as the first character, I went inactive for a couple months and the acc was deleted so when I had to make a new one I wanted a one word name, Slasher and I wanted something kinda cool but original. Ended up thinking of the name SlaSHeR but I didn't like it much, so I came up with ZlaSHeR which is the tag i've pretty much used in games such as Sony's Infantry, FlyFF, Counterstrike, MW2, Halo 3, ever game I can think of I've pretty much used the name ZlaSHeR
