I was spending the day vibing off rachmaninoff concertos / jazz solos and catching up on studying. Went to go to the coffee shop, ran into an ex, had a friendly-casual conversation while she waited for her date to arrive and not a bit enmity between us. She looked happy, and when it was time to leave, she gave me a slight pat/hug on the back, and smiled that warm smile I saw on the very first day I met her. Saturday morning, I did a lot of painting until noon. The wife and I then went to couples yoga. For dinner we went to the Brazilian Steakhouse Rodizio at Turning Stone Casino (Upstate NY). Stayed in East Syracuse, enjoyed some chocolate covered strawberries and Korbel California Rosé champaign. Sunday: Went down for free breakfast, then drove back home. Finished the second coats of paint. Went to see a theatre show called Cirque Dreams Illumination. The wife loved it. We went to a fancy locally owned restaurant called "Number 5" for dinner. Very fancy, and good eats. It was the busiest Valentines day I ever had. We both had a great time. | ||
