Is 5v5 standard for competitive matches in Altitude or just a random number? We have 50+ guys, why not make it 7v7 to accomodate more ppl. | ||

I guess its really a matter of figuring out what works best, but I feel like 7v7 is actually a bit too much. There haven't really been any organized competitive matches thus far (to my knowledge), so we're kind of breaking new ground here. | ||

Question: is it easy to set up a server? Do you need a dedicated machine? If so, do you think we could use the TL server? I haven't looked into how much juice is needed - not much, I'm sure, but let me know. We should set up either a schedule league or a ladder. Thoughts? A ladder + an irc channel on quakenet would probably be best. We could either host the standings somewhere (anyone know a good ladder website? I'd set it up[edit: is fraggednation okay with people?]) or I'd handle everything via this thread and OP. We'd have to run with screen shots and such, but it really shouldn't be too hard either way. I think this can be pretty fun if we put a tiny bit of effort in. | ||
