Anyway, I got a serious fleet up, FCed it and absolutely crushed them. Wasn't even close. Something like 1.5b kills, 40m losses or some shit with about 500m in loot and t2 salvage. Then Aeth tried to CTA me for an attack on a nightmare hugging a station with carriers. He promptly crashed on grid with them and fb disappeared in his mach (a large part of our dps) with no notice so I was gonna just write off Aeth and call it a failop. Then I realised we could accidentally let it slip in local that Aeth crashed after probing him down ourselves and then use that to lure them into open space where they couldn't just repair and redock if things got dangerous. Unfortunately rather than risk Aeth I told Karah to mwd away from him on grid so if they warped to the first drake they probed they'd be like 100k off of Aeth. The nightmare took the bait, we jumped and warped karah and he landed on Aeth. The lachesis landed 140k off of him and the nightmare warped back to station 15k (about 7 seconds) outside point range. About 3 minutes later Aeth disappeared. If I'd left Karah closer to guarantee a point Aeth would have 100% died but we'd have gotten the fight and possibly a kill. You owe me. | ||
