when we actually get a fight out of NC its not too bad, but that happens like once a week at most.

I really want to get back into a 0.0 Alliance after a few.. years of carebaring. The character I want to put into the corp is a 16mil SP primarily minmatar pilot. Dunno who to contact but the corp name DOES say your recruitment is closed. I don't know if this means to everyone or only people not on the TL forums or something. I'm Hyey in game, let me know or something :p

I would recommend against getting either of them to rank 5 though. I'm sitting at 4 for the basics, and 3 for the advanced. Getting the advanced to level 4 is the best next course for me (as far as learning skills go), and that will take nearly 8 months of constant skill training to make itself up. This isn't even including the charisma skills. According to other sources, the level 5 basics will take about 1.5 years to 'pay off', while the level 5 advanced learnings will take over 3. Just some food for thought.

I guess I'll stop at lvl 4 then, just get learning at lvl 5 since it works with all the stats (basically, it'll turn 20 in one attribute into 22 if it's at lvl 5 which is really nice). I also took 2 levels of empathy, just so I have this 2 extra attribute points to spread around during the next remap.

But getting some points in Charisma do boost Focus slightly I believe.

This is an informative (if old) thread on the topic: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=81368 The calcs in that thread were done assuming averages, so it will vary a bit depending on what skills you actually train. Personally, I've gone into this with the philosophy that even if I do eventually play for years, I want to get to the point where I can fit and fly a decent amount of ships before I hit the extreme-time-sink learning skills. For instance, I will be able to fly interceptors with t2 guns in about 3 weeks from now. That 3 weeks of training would be shortened by about a day if I spent 10 days first training the advanced learning skills to level 4. So, 9 extra days wherein I'm flying a limited amount of frigates, cruisers, and battlecruisers (maybe not BCs, the cost...). Not an eternity, but 3 weeks will feel like long enough. Another interesting calc for me is going from +3 to +4 implants. The 4 or so days of skill training needed from Cybernetics 1 to Cybernetics 4 will take 2 months of future training (with those +4s in at all times) to pay off. That's actually a decent return, but if you're pvp-active and are likely to get podded, you won't have those implants in at all times. It's about 80 million to replace them, which is quite a bit for a new player who is actively pvping and likely doesn't have a lot of income. The most likely scenario is that you'll have a jump clone set up with implants that you jump into (or out of) every now and then.

http://www.gentlemen-in-space.com/killboard/?a=corp_detail&crp_id=8303 Status of the corp: Currently 61 members at the moment, 26 active PvP pilots. TL people always welcome to join! Not much to write otherwise. Geminate campaign with Atlas was completed successfully, and we are now back home in KZF. Roams have commenced since then in full force, with the first big roam after getting back resulting in 100+ kills. All kinds of new renters have moved into our space while we were gone as well, which makes our space pretty well populated now.

I've been away from actively playing these past 2 months. Blame dragon age. Anyway I kept logging in to change skills and I notice that things are suddenly taking a change for the better. We've also recruited a dozen or so pvp pilots from another corp, which revo has been friends with since over a year back. So now we actually have more than 50% people active on weekends. Furthermore revo uses his gay powers of male bonding to create a joint channel between another corp or two in our alliance and now we run ops together so we get better fleet numbers. I went on an armor bc roam with them and we mashed TCF's face in. I remeber why eve is fun again and since I have a week off from school I decide to log in again on monday. Revo doesn't log in. Neither does Gordon. Hmm, ok they took a day off. Later I find out revo's video card is burned or something. Neither of them logged in today either. Am I sensing a pattern here? : P Oh and Gordon: Fuel the goddamn POS before I go nuke it because it keeps spamming my notice box. Thanks.

Blast away. ![]() In all seriousness, I'm about to take my senior year finals. I have no idea what I'm going to be doing two months from now. That's been pulling me away from Eve a lot. In a few weeks, I 'll be free to be much more active. I'll still be logging in a lot, just maybe not for long periods.

Moving back to KZF From: Yulwei Sent: 2010.04.30 20:12 To: Liquid Inc., Since revo most likely isn't going to log in by tomorrow I've talked to progod about the 101sm guys helping us move our shit to kzf. We'll be contracting our stuff to their guys tomorrow and then getting them back in kzf. We're gonna have to label our ship but he's assured me that shit won't be stolen. If you're a cap pilot there's probably gonna be a lowsec cyno chain back. By the looks of it we maybe returning to Hak but certainly not to x-7 so get your shit out of there. Alternatively you can sell it. You can leave a jump clone in hak or in a near hisec system but that's totally optional. Try and be online for the move tomorrow so your stuff doesn't get stuck here. Progod is really nice but it would be awesome if revo logged on <3
