So true. Luckily, I have a secret weapon. If he he doesn't sound like he's being a smartass, there's no way he was talking to me.
I have a knack for making that tone come out...

I am enjoying the Day9 Matrix picture in the picture thread waaay too much. There should be an entire series based upon that.

Found a neutral cane slowboating on a safe in bosena so i got our fleet waiting on the gate and made nyovne in a rifter jump-> [13:42:50] Shtang Lord > oey hatchery FUCK OFF
Knowing there are at least 2 wartarget canes in local as well i renewed the probes and got 3 canes on dscan, two being close to each other but not on the same spot, so i took the guess and warped him to a random cane. Upon landing there was nothing left and i warped my covops to the other cane result. this time i got the right one and he was still slowboating on his safe. I called nyovne to warp to a planet and then to my covops at range. While he was warping back the wartarget cane appeared on grid and started shooting the neutral cane. As nyovne landed another wt cane came in and a wt rapier decloaked, but the fleet was already in warp. Naturally nyovne was taken out in like one second, but the rapier decided to stay and wait till our fleet lands. A few seconds later we raped the rapier, the two wt canes managed to gtfo, leaving only the neutral cane on the field, which we then raped as well. In good hatchery manner we ended the fight with gfs in local and dat tears from the enemy. Wow, I think that just bent my brain trying to work around the implications of that, and normally that sort of brain twisting is my style.
Actually, I think I may have misunderstood how you meant that. Need more caffeine. In retrospect, the way I was originally trying to read it is immensely more complex than what you obviously meant.

tbh are there any good ferox fits that dont involve it being a drake?

There are Ferox fits that are considerably less wrong.
You know, ones that aren't a low-grade armor tank?

Scram is 18km without links. . . burn away derp.

A ferox pilot either really, really knows what he's doing and has a specific theorycrafted fit in mind or he's someone who thinks a ferox is a legitimately good ship. Before you see the killmail you never know which it's going to be.

What if... you just like the Ferox because it's a terrible ship and it's just lols to use?
Cause that's how I feel about the Ferox. My favorite player in BW is Shuttle for the same reason :p. I love watching mediocre/inconsistent players the most haha.
Except Calm, he's just bad.

Judging by the killmail, he had a specific fit in mind alright... it was the "oooh ooh, please help me waste my ISK" theorycrafted fit. Mining Rokh would be more efficient though.

He was doing either a L1 or L2 in it. All the wrecks were small, with one medium.

He's in CAS anyways.
I mean...yeah, the fit was bad, but at least a generic concept was there. He wasn't like...mixed guns dual tank etc. etc.

Ferox can be fun, you'll never ever get primaried in one. PvP wise a Drake will always be functionally better, but PvP is so much more fun when you kill stuff in ships no-one flies.

By the way, your signature should read "Flying Minmatar..." not playing Terran.

Man after reading through a good 200 pages of this thread it really makes me want to play Eve with you guys but I don't know if I could keep up considering I don't know what half this shit is.

That is what makes it fun. The learning curve is great IF you have people to help with it and some means of finding excitement. The Hatch is great for that.
