3 drake, cane, devoter and oynx gatecamping in odde. We lost nejota's cane to it before we got a fleet up which sucked, was a 6v1 and it happens but unfortunately it's on the battle report. Anyway, we got a fleet up, 3 drakes, 2 canes and 2 rifters. So, that's 1 cane and 2 rifter (value 65m) against devoter + onyx (value 440m). So, while I wouldn't say that they outnumbered us their fleet was worth twice ours. Anyway, to the engagement. We got a fleet up and I warped to the gate at 30 to start shit. I was nanoing about and they seemed unwilling to really go for me. The onyx made a few abortive runs but his fleet were hugging the gate at 0. This was a problem because if we flew our standard longpoint style then it'd tank us for a while and then mwd back and jump. The only ship they were willing to commit was a ship we couldn't gank while nanoing. Eventually I was able to coax him a good 50k from his friends where he was still feeling cocky having taken next to no damage from my drake. Suddenly my fleet appeared and we sat at 20k from him smashing him while a rifter (good luck killing that with drakes + onyx) scrammed him. They were forced to come straight at us. The guy taking the lead was a cane so I promptly sent the second scram rifter to go intercept him while I called an overheat on the onyx, bringing him down (and thus restoring mobility to the fleet) right before they hit us. 240m to nothing. At this point I burned out my guns because I'm bad so I called the cane secondary and handed the reigns to Cael to FC. Jed died was traded for the cane while they tried to primary Cael down but they had no fast ships. I got back in to take over as Cael warped out and we finished off a drake. They now had just the drakes and a devoter and one drake was about to drop while we were fully mobile in space. We kept primaried down another drake leaving both remaining targets dead in the water 30k off gate. Our fleet was able to quickly clean them up. Total value of their fleet: 680m of which 680m was destroyed Total value of our fleet: 310m of which 0.5m was destroyed. Total value of loot and salvage: 100m To sum up, sup?!?!? | ||
