and my word is my bond You know what cracks me up about this? This is one of the most common phrases a Nigerian 419 email scammer uses (I've heard it like ~5 times, myself). For example: I am MISS LINDA MOUDOU the only daughter of late Chief VINCENT MOUDOU the former Director of finance Sierra-Leone diamond and Mining corporation, I must confess my agitation is real, and my word is my bond, in this proposal. My late father VINCENT MOUDOU diverted the sum of $15,000.000 (Fifteen Milloin, US Dollars) this money was meant for the purchase of ammunition for my country, during the peak of disastrous civil war in my country, now he has deposited the money with BAN here in Abidjan , where I am residing under political asylum. &c. Speaking of which: Kwark -- Reading your battle reports gives me considerable amusement (its like being subbed without all the drawbacks!) So, I might convince one of my pet scamming lads to make a banner and snap a photo of himself with it. Kwark was flying around looking for something to kill. Vov was bitching on TS the whole time about places being too far away. Way out in Katugumur he finds some Mean corp guys and decided they should die. There was Rapier, Domi, Augoror Navy Issue (erp?) and a Raven. Weken as well. Started nanoing off unloading on the Domi. On the other side, the Augoror and TFI deaggressed and jumped. We started unloading on the Augoror but the fucker wouldn't die. Johnny jumped in and rammed them and died. So I told tofu and alex to cut off their escape by holding on the gate and jumped into a typhoon fleet issue, domi, navy issue augoror, ishkur and rapier (their raven, sacrilege, guardian, cane, drake and arazu were elsewhere at the time). I solo hulksmashed a rapier, fucked up the ishkur (it gtfoed) and got the domi aggressed and fucked up. Once the domi was nice and aggressed I called tofu in to help and we were taking it down. At this point Karah realised shit was actually happening and started moving. The domi got out but we then got the phoon fleet issue trapped on a gate. It was active tanking and a bitch to kill but the rapier pilot came back in a raven we switched to thunderbolts and opened up on him. Tofu burned his guns out but Karah arrived in time to help me kill it. Alex died to the TFI tackling it like a boss but he's a rifter so whatever. They then gtfoed so we went to repair. We caught the domi and TFI on another gate and by this point had weken in a new rifter and Johnny on his way in a drake. VoV had begun to fuck around with maybe he was coming maybe he wasn't which consisted of him cluttering comms with being afraid of moving through lowsec but not actually helping. They brought in the arazu and ishkur a few times but each time I was able to chase them away (so nearly killed the arazu, it was pure damp, no point fit). They jumped the gate and we had tofu, johnny and weken on the other side. Johnny found a navy augoror 8k from where he spawned and promptly opened up on it, getting scrammed. He then spent the next 5 minutes failing to burn back to the gate while the augoror tanked 4 drakes and slowly wore him down. What annoys me is he could have easily burned back to the gate at 0 with the one mwd cycle you get before being scrammed and then jumped back and forth for a better spawn point. Instead he threw away his nanodrake by letting it get tackled, despite being right next to an exit from the fight. We promptly warped off, docked and repaired. I went back to harass their fleet having given no orders to my fleet since "dock up and repair". Therefore imagine my surprise when tofu decided to warp to me at 0 (completely unannounced and unordered) while I was trying to isolate a sacrilege. He landed next to it and was promptly scrammed. I told him to immediately self destruct but it didn't work in time. His excuse was that he thought I might be at a safe and despite the fact that he can make his own safes, or ask if anyone has a safe, or ask where I am before warping to me, or, God forbid, actually follow orders, he decided to just go for it. So, no kills since the two that I did pretty much solo (rapier actually solo, raven most damage and only guy pointing it/getting shot at) and now down two drakes. VoV is still fucking around 8j away trying to decide if he's going to risk undocking or not so Karah and I give up and go home. Karah tells me the way through Sotrenzur is clear but a rapier decloaks as I jump a gate and webs me up and as I jump back through the entire gang, now featuring a bhaalgorn, is there. I can easily outrun anything they have (ishkur/arazu included) but the bhaalgorn neuts me out in a single cycle and I grind to a halt 40k from the gate with the ishkur just about still in point range. The moral of the story is that I shouldn't actually bother with fleetmates because they massively lower the average skill of any fleet I'm in. | ||

So yes, you get a little bit of acceleration but probably not exceeding ~250 m/s before Auguror locks a CDFE drake. Of course I could be wrong, but I don't recall getting full cycles after getting scrammed... | ||
