No idea what thread you're talking about. We don't only gank carebears - we will happily gank most fleets that vastly outnumber us until it starts hitting ridiculous numbers. The few fleets we've run away from are all with more scimis than we have rifters and shit.
If you didn't have 200+ posts already I'd have assumed you were some random bitter carebear we shot up or something, I guess it'll stay a mystery.
EDIT: Fuckin' love body_shield's little banter in local:
Body Shield > I'd like to welcome Dark Rising and friends to this wonderful system, how can I be of service gentlemen? slayerwillwin > undock your most expensive ship and shoot at us Body Shield > this rifter?

Quick. Whack the hornet's nest some more.

kill the pirate scimitar, it will work.

Long story short, we had a pirate merlin opening on one of our rifters, so we decide to let them 1on1, when suddenly a wt falcondecloaks (yes, we fucking ganked that carebear falcon, look at the t2 salvager). So we switch to the falcon and kill that after a quick hunt through the system ending at the station with him having aggression timer and not being able to dock, after jamming all points away for multiple warps.

Their game plan seems to be suicide a single falcon then make a massive, massive blob. What I don't understand is why they always open with the falcon gambit.

DR 1 : ''okay guys, this is really not working, we need to find a way not to lose ships'' DR 2 :''what can we do ?'' DR 3 : ''I KNOW I KNOW LETS BRING MORE SHIPS'' DR 1 : ''yeah thats good but, we tried that and still lost ship, need a new strat'' DR 2 : ''oh I know, lets bring a scimmy for every 4 ship we field''

A random selection of 5 of his posts reveals the following gems:
TLO hasn't won anything. He's yet to prove himself. Congratz on the $$$$. But I'd rather see you win.
I like TLO. I want to see him win. He never wins. I feel its hard to support TLO by his lack of performance.
EG really hasn't done much other than ride IDRA for all he's worth...
Secondly -- out of the many corps I've observed, 9POOL is at least willing to die in fires engaging against superior odds. This is a quality lacking in many self proclaimed "elite pvp" corps (even/especially in 0.0).
Sure they use links and whatnot but who doesn't? If DR et al. are incapable of putting at least 1 command ship / t3 in their 20 man fleets, that speaks more to their incompetence than anything intrinsically unfair about ganglinks.
Same thing goes with ganks -- who wouldn't resist the chance to gank a couple of bs/carriers/whatever?

I actually quite like the idea of mining on a belt in isto in noobships. Anyone up for taking a fleet of them out there later?

I must say that I care deeply about the bear population. If we let them breed at their current rate, they will all starve for lack of food. We must pick them off to keep them alive.

I'm sorry if its negative to state the truth. EG doesn't have anyone other than Idra that consistently players at a high level. I'm sorry I like to see performance. TLO tries to entertain but doesn't perform, although lately he's improved a bit.
What you don't see is my conversation with chill about raising money for Japan on a $ by $ basis that Chill said TL doesn't have any plans to do any fundraising. So far we have raised over 100k ourselves. That's okay though.
This still doesn't change the fact that you guys don't fight pvpers and simply roam around ganking in eve. It's fine some corps are like that, but don't pretend to be something you aren't.
