My accounting shows about 6b in to generate about 12b (2 plex consumed at time of selling so take that out of sale price).
Titan holders are 6 months and very legit.

oh maybe i should have stated more clearly that the goal of the exercise is to get me a dread pilot, not to sell one.
that is why i compare my assets (and their development) to the 14b buyout, otherwise that would (as you pointed out) make no sense

Sigh. Can't you make like something like 1b an hour doing escalations in C5's in a dread? If that's the case, buy it for 12b or whatever now, because it would more than pay for itself in very short order..... There's honestly no point waiting if that's the case. That's why these things sell when they are on the market, because they are insanely valuable to people who put time into this game.

yes you can... but there is risk involved, enough risk that i can not currently justify paying over 10b for a char and 4b more for a basic fit running the sites. that is why i am comfortable with waiting. maybe i will grow impatient during the wait, and do something else to get one... but then i just have a valuable alt at the end of the 8 months anyway (that i can use to double escalate, multibox or sell)

i literally see no problem with this plan, it can be a suboptimal use of isk right now, but it has 0 maintenance and work once set up.... so isk/hr for actual clicking in game is through the roof and suits my "i sometimes dont like to log on for a month or two" playstyle very well
