You can only make billions of isk doing really easy stuff because people are too stupid to figure out how to really make isk in this game, and keep flopping around doing really stupid stuff making very little isk without realizing how bad they really are. If you make them smarter, then you lose out on the potential you currently have to take advantage of their stupidity. That and the fact that the average eve uni guy must think 300 million isk is a lot of isk.... Like a lot of isk. They'd have to save up for months to be able to have that much in their wallet. And they'd be so proud of themselves that they would squeal in excitement like a pig being fed that they've finally obtained 300 million isk. So trying to give them an idea that they may require 5 carriers and 2 toons capable of flying those carriers is a little above their pay grade and their collective intelligence level..... | ||

With all seriousness, EUNI has been historically set up with practices and guidelines reinforcing a need to systematically remove any intelligent members and dialogue from their presence. They virtually worship ignorance on particular subjects. They are the single most stagnant organization in all of EVE - much more so than any null-sec entity (because those guys at least don't take themselves 110% seriously). I like to think of EUNI as the RIAA running ad campaigns to tell people about the evils of the internet, meanwhile trying to make copyright infringement a felony and teaching all their members about how vinyl is here to stay. Anyone who even enjoys their time playing EVE while in EUNI does so despite everything. The sacred few who are even remotely competent (and I have seen strong indications in the past that competent EUNI members are alts) must properly bow and respect the "management" lest they be tossed out themselves. KwarK never had a chance. | ||
