I jump cloned over to hevrice, 3j from OMS, and bought a dual prop ranis from someone. I fleeted up with shadow cartel and headed over, with them in an artynado fleet, correctly guessing that they didnt have the people to actually engage most of the other gangs that would show up. As the nados were popping stuff, a gang of close range tr3 bcs (taloses and nados), landed on them, forcing them to warp out. I scrammed a talos and started killing it, but when I tried to launch my drones, they wouldnt launch. I slowly realized that none of my skills were applying to my ship. After killing the talos, I tried relogging and clearing cache, but no help. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=15418411 After the talos, an eve uni gang went after me. I attacked their talwar (and again, my ship is hilariously bad at the moment, since I am missing about a third of my damage from guns, both my drones, the ability to target more than 2 things, etc). We are both going into hull at the same time, and I burned away, swapped to void, then burned back in and killed it, despite his gang and me being in a terribly skilled ranis. gg http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=15418410 We go back to fighting, and I notice someone in the midst of the 700 man blob in a griffin. All griffins must die, so I go for him. The combination of me missing half my damage and having about 1-2 fps lets him get away in armor, but he dies soon after. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=15419603 The shadow cartel fc calls a tengu as primary. Now anyone who would show up to a 700 man fight with a tengu is clearly some sort of pvp god, in a 5 billion isk tengu, right? I burn in and loot the wreck. To my surprise, it is full of warp core stabs and salvagers. http://shadowcartel.com/kb/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=32006 A bunch of other kills followed, while shadow cartel docked up to get some food. When they came back, darkside had shown up in a 70 man naga fleet, which we could very much not engage. We settled for probing the many many links all over the system. We ransomed one, and killed a 2nd one, but the rest all got away. I died while going for the loot and pod of the 2nd link alt. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=15420171 http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=15420131 | ||
