My train of thought was, it's a bit pointless for Monkey to learn the ins and outs of the game, and then have to relearn it all anyway. Of course he can do whatever he wants ^^

We've had this conversation plenty of times, and it comes down to "different strokes for different folks" If you ask every person in corp which they prefer and why, you will get a different answer from each. I will however remind you that our corp 4v4 team was masters in sc2, and some of our players (like kwark) took down some of the best foreign players in the world during their BW days. We've also had some of the best sc2 pros try their hands at eve in our corp. Starcraft is awesome and whether you prefer BW or SC2 is irrelevant, we all have affection for starcraft, and plenty of fond memories. In other news, a handful of us randomly decided (I whined until chriss agreed) to move back to our former home in Molden heath. Had an interesting roam today, only managed to take out a thrasher, but our tengu, merlin, drake team was engaged by none other than gunpoint. (who I was misinformed about them having split up) We were trying to fight 10+ man frigate gang that also had a Hurricane. But they got away. We engaged a Megathron Navy issue and he had 1 frig come back him up, suddenly Rapier, Navy mega #2, falcon showed up in system. Tengu got webbed but grid foo saved the day and we all escaped (with a lot of heat dmg). Chris was accused of being a Kwark alt, and was also accused of "breaking eve" because the grid split saved him. The rest of the roam was uneventful, but it's nice to be in an area with such thriving pvp. A lot of gangs roaming around, for such a small area. I think we are going to have some good times. BTW I will be able to get back to Lone trek for corp stuff (tacklers are always needed!)

We have been based in Bosena for the month that we've existed. Our fearless leader has suggested moving to Skarkon, and it has generally been received as a good idea, but almost nothing beyond the suggestion has been done to this end. We will likely only be in Molden for another few weeks before we go nomadic. Probably going to go burn Providence as one of our first deployments. And Gunpoint is alive and well. A little more lean and mean these days, but I either fly with or shoot them pretty much every day. As a matter of fact, thanks to SardMart(tm) Bosena is a better market than Rens for almost everything PVP related, especially AFs and their associated modules.
