wow gc is officially dead. im actually feeling a bit sad, regardless of what a pile of shit the alliance became since the beggining of the year, ill always remember it as the 300 man pvp powerhouse that we first joined. roaming through curse while being attacked by every single entity in eve and winning most of the engagements was the most fun i had in eve. im feeling a lot worse about liquid's apparent death though.  | ||

A bit more research reveals the hound pilot is part of a mining corp which kind of explains why he was so bad. Still, we can't have tl pilots being assaulted at whim. It falls to me as king of The Hatchery to invoke the sacred responsibility of starting wars that for some reason I seem to have. This is not a burden I choose and I bear it with great humility and prudence. I want it to be clear that I do this after great consideration and research and not just because they happened to attack vice a few minutes ago. And despite the lack of consultation with either JR, the corp leader, and WP, the fleet commander, I stand by this decision as morally clear. And I draw absolutely no amusement from the fact that those two individuals will log back on to find that I have started yet another war. None at all. | ||

I was roaming lowsec and got bored having not found anything so I decided to start killing rats. As I was pecking away at a battlecruiser, I decided to look at the chat in SCBW and see what was going on. I was at about 50% armor and full capacitor, speed tanking the rat just fine. When the hound decloaked and opened up on me I really dont know how many volleys it got off before I noticed it was there. After a brief targeting malfunction (i immediately tried to warp out, realized I had a point on me and tackled the rat in complete panic) I managed to burn over to the hound and get a tackle on him. A short while later he was dead and the most dmg I had taken was from the rat. Caldari Navy Torpedos dont do very much damage to frigates and I've got no idea why he was using them on me but he was my first successful solo kill. Hooray! | ||

Someone should be harversting the bitterness of nostaligia that's spewing out then sell it to "omg i'm so depressed" wannabes to actually make then sad : ( REALLY SAD.
