And fuck you 49ers, you made me sad.
No way dude... arizona was lighting it up toward the end of the game. Keeping the ball was the best thing they could have done.

Yeah, it's not like they were playing the Dolphins. The Cardinals have a very potent offense. If they allowed them any chance to come back, they very well could have.

I can start three out of this group. Who sits?
AD @ NO (no brainer) Grant @ ATL (He's putting me on the verge of suicidal) Edge @ Buf Brown @ SD
I was leaning towards sitting Brown personally. I don't think he's coming anywhere last week's output. Before this, he had yet to break 25 yards this season or 4.0 ypc. Edge hasn't been much better, but at least he's got a much better offense to work with.
Bonus question: Steve Slaton is on the FA list. I've got 4 qb (Ben, Cutler, Cambell and Cassell). I was gonna hold Cassell for trade bait, but he really hasn't given me anything lol. Should I just dump him for Slaton??
|
I'd bench Brown, especially against the Chargers defense.
|
why do you have 4 QBs? Whats the league setup?
Doubt you need Slaton that bad when you've got Cutler.
|
he plays 2 qb's a week, that was answered earlier slaton's a running back, how does cutler matter i wouldn't trust ronnie brown either, SD held the ravens to pretty shitty running numbers and oakland's backs are decent

2 qb league, so I need at least 3 (Cambell) for bye, and Cassell was just a trading chip for later, but he isn't generating any interest.

Without a doubt get Steve Slaton. Post your roster, though, because you may want to drop someone else. If Cassel blows up one week, you should be able to sell high, and personally, I'd like to give him another week if I were you. So post your roster. This actually looks like a good week for Cassel.

Phil < Washington Carolina > KC Chicago > Detroit Green Bay < Atlanta (GB is on a downward spiral, their D is shot, and Rodgers is hurt, Turner will kill them this week) Tennessee > Baltimore San Diego > Miami Indy > Houston NYG > Seattle Den > TB (Their offense won't struggle like that two weeks in a row) Arizona < Buffalo Dallas > Cincinnati NE > San Fran Jax > Pitt New Orleans < Minnesota

I really can't see Denver beating Tampa Bay this weekend. They have a balanced offense and I can see them putting up 24-30 points on the Broncos. The only way I can see the Broncos winning is if their defense actually steps up and Griese throws the game away.
The more I think about it, the more I agree with you on Washington and Atlanta winning. Westbrook's absence will kill the Eagles again and I have much love and faith in Ryan (BC fan) in dismantling the Packers defense.

I don't think Minnesota is going to beat NO. Saints have had some decent games, just that their offense isn't as strong as it started out with Colston.
If Vikings win, it'll probably be a close game (lol for NO).

Their entire offense is based on passing the ball. Reggie Bush can't run it, unless he's playing Denver, and that's been proven time and time again--he really has no business being called a half back, but I digress. If there's one thing that the Minnesota defense can do other than stopping the run, it's generating a pass rush. You saw it against the Colts, and the Panthers. New Orleans has a better line than the Panthers, and fewer injuries than the Colts, but I think they'll still be able to get at Drew Brees (who has very few options right now). The Vikings offense will not be hindered at all this week, either. The Saints can't stop the run (or the pass for that matter), and the Vikings can run like no other team in the league.

Anquan Boldin is a real man's man. Seriously, what a badass. How many guys would be so confident after getting their head smashed like that?

That Eagles game is going to be close, but Washington is red hot right now, and I like to take the hot hand. Portis will get shut down, for the most part, but I think Campbell will continue to play well. He'll need to against that defense too. It'll be a good game, that's for sure. But I think missing Westbrook just takes too much away from Philly right now. McNabb isn't quite as dynamic as he once was, and their receiving corps isn't really too great.
Denver is going to score on Tampa Bay, at least they should. Tampa's D can't stop Brandon. As long as they don't have two fumbles deep in their territory again, and Jay doesn't throw costly picks, they should win. The offense is too good.
I don't have faith in Ryan at all, personally. He's probably the better of the two rookie starters, but he hasn't shown a whole lot, other than he can throw for about a hundred eighty yards, and a TD on bad defenses, behind 150+ and three TD games from the running back. He has a long way to go in his career before I start putting my faith in him.

boldin is a beast if westbrook plays, eagles take this game without him, it's a tossup

Westbrook is starting Sunday. Eagles will win this. Rodgers is a game time decision.
