Stumbled across this cool little gem of a game just the other day, called 1213.
From the official site:
A man lies in a darkened cell, consumed by pain and sickness. He does not know where he is. He does not know how he came to be there. He does not even know his own name. All he knows is that he is being tortured by a bizarre, bespectacled man, who addresses him only as a number - Twelve-Thirteen.
Every day, Twelve-Thirteen is taken out of his cell and goaded into running a dangerous hazard course, apparently for the sole amusement of the bespectacled man. Today seems to be no different. But while Twelve-Thirteen sits brooding in his darkened prison, the door suddenly falls open with no apparent cause. To discover the answers to all of his questions, Twelve-Thirteen must adventure into the unknown world beyond the cell...
Very nice atmosphere, pretty good controls, nice story, good music (in the parts that have it).
The graphics are pretty old school (ie, they look something like Prince of Persia  ) but do their job.

Currently on the boss of episode two but can't figure out how the hell you do damage to it so I'm taking a break  I'm a real sucker for games of this nature (the storyline) so I might be a bit biased, but I think it's a good game.

is this an action/puzzle game like that portal flash game, or more like one of those story games where you gotta find the ridiculously hidden items around the room(s)?

this game looks like flashback or something.

Shoot the eyes, and keep jumping/climbing to dodge his hits. The game has kind of wonky hit detection, but it was enjoyable and short so.
Also it's made by Yahtzee, the guy who does Zero Punctuation reviews, before he became the e-famous. If you're into 1213, you should also try his 5 days a stranger series found here

The thing that confused me was that vs the first boss, when I hit he'd flinch/bleed, but I see no sign of my shots hitting the second one so I wasn't sure it was working.

This was quite a fun game, twist ending for teh winz!!1!

So the game isnt safe for people under 15? What will happen? Will they die, or will they just be seriously injured and have to be rushed to the hospital?

I DL'ed episode 1 and kept jumping down the elevator shaft after the 3rd or so zombie guy lol.
PS- Is it faster to hold space (jump) to move or just use the arrows?

Haha me too. I had to hit alt+F4 to quit falling
Has some atmosphere, but I'm currently in like opposite mood...

The music is kind of repetatitive at times, I wish I could turn it off.
