cross platform? You mean xbox vs pc ? of course not. Controllers are much different (even though you can hook up different things).

Well Microsoft has setup XBL vs GFWL before (Shadowrun and maybe some others), so its not like they couldn't do it, might have been some deliberation about it (like bad pcs lagging up games and stuff) so they didn't implement that. The controllers shouldn't matter at all lol
