Don't check those, they don't count  This is supposed to test productive rather than receptive vocab.
Anyway I scored low 20s, so apparently I have the vocab of a 16 year old. Go me. For a non-native speaker that's good.. but I honestly didn't expect the average to be 20-35k. On the plus side, the corresponding verbal SATs for these guys is ~700, which I think is considered above average, so it's a slightly biased sample.
Plus I learned what 'captious' means today! =D

just because I said I'd struggle doesn't mean I couldn't do it ^^, I did it again and took out any I thought I was being optimistic with and got 30k

Plague Rider and Witch Slayer are the go to beginner characters. Myrmidon is not one and blacksmith is melee which doesn't usually end well for new players.
