ITs kinda lame but i think blizzard is coming out with an official dota for sc2 or at least theys aid that at blizzcon anyone know any more info on that? disappointing because it'll be just a clone of the original dota in a new client, which doesn't solve any of it's problems (that are fixed with the leavers system, etc with HoN and LoL(who fails in other areas) which have their own client.

It's a real toss up, if you get one such individual they are likely to talk out of their ass while the game is full and ready to start. Drunk on power they refuse to start the game and while in game they often times make a mess of things by annoying the rest of the players. is this referring to me? i cannot tell, but if it is, i have several ideas for you to enjoy the gameplay you desire. here are your options: a)unicorns b)dwarves c)faeries d) start using your head for something constructive.

I was also under the impression that TL inhouses were supposed to be friendly affairs with a relaxed atmosphere(as opposed to pubs) but your attitude certainly didn't/doesn't help in that regard. merry christmas fellas. i'ma go try this hon 2.0 thing!

All of which defeats the purpose of a friendly IH, if you want to do what you are describing, then go make a IH LEAGUE.

Not that its a huge deal, but in the first post of this thread, it tells you what channels to join to find people to IH. If people used TS more often, you would find that one of the channels says to /join clan teamliquid. If you can't spend the little energy required to do a /join clan teamliquid, then why should we like you play in TL inhouses? You might say were being strict, but clan teamliquid is a public channel that anyone can join, so if you find it too hard to join, then i don't think you should play with us, and rather go play pubs with others. edit: to judicator, we do it so we can make sure its not just random pub players who leave because they have to lane against higher skilled players and give up and quit 3 minutes in. If they want to IH with us, showing a little effort of joining the TL channel is all we ask. It's not much to ask, yet some people still complain about it.

that doesnt make sense - are you saying the only difference between friendly ihs and pubs are that people are nice? why do you call it an inhouse? i never stated that i expect everyone to do everything in their power to win and to play flawless, but they shouldnt be utterly clueless and ignorant of their team - and that did occur, and its not fun for anyone who cares about game quality at all. am i missing something? edit: clarified who i am responding to

I am not saying what you are doing is wrong or whatever, I am saying it's kind of dumb to make it limited access when it's suppose to be friendly IHs. Like making the person to join the channel isn't exactly going to keep someone from leaving, might as well set a hard rating cap for those who don't join the channel if they're randoms.

We aren't asking an interview and how good are you out of every person, but if you want to play in TL ih, put a little effort of just joining the channel. Yeah, but why not just set an arbitrary ratings requirements when you can't games going? Otherwise like you said, there isn't enough people sustain consistent games so if people want to play, just do that.

For me it doesn't matter if he casts during the GSL or not. I've lost all interest in GSL some time ago.

In fact its most frustrating when people don't play and just wish to obs. Everyone is welcome, all skill levels. Just sit when the game is hosted!
